Larry was about to blurt something but he swiftly held out his hand and hushed him up. ''Not now, Lar. I'll need to hear directly from her what it was I did wrong.'' The call was having a problem connecting at first. Chewing his lips, he said. ''Or is it because of what I said—''

''No.. Don't halt there.'' Larry bellowed at him, ''Spill it! What did you say to her?!''

''Shhhh! Her phone's ringing.'' Kaiden brightened up once the call began to pull through.

''Hey!'' Kai protested as soon as the call dropped on him.

''That's what I was about to say, bro. She's not going to take your calls.''

''But why? This makes zero sense right now, and like Nes is simply behaving like some brat!''
