With no further interjections from the dejected pair, Ivan and Cordelia were given orders to arrange a patrol schedule with the two absent guards upon their return, so that they could form a temporary squad. This was a necessary measure to maintain the protection of civilians behind the wall.
Then, as Captain Hunter proceeded to delve further into the details of the mission itself, Love sat back, her face impassive but her chest uncomfortably tight.
