To Be Greatful

The year is 2127, throughout the years lots of life changing and historical things have happened. In this modern day of age time travel and traveling to different dimensions and worlds is used frequently by everyone. Throughout the different worlds and dimensions People have discovered a world full of all kinds of beauty, but there is another reason People come to this world... People come here because of a Huge tower full of riches that has been used as people's main way of making money for decades. This world was given the name "Ryker".

In order to obtain these riches you must go through trials, Each floor of the tower has a trial in it full of hard obstacles such as Monsters, traps, and riddles. in which the higher you go the harder it gets. There are about 355 known about floors in the tower, After the 100th floor the trials don't just get harder, they double and after every 50 floors after that, it doubles again. The furthest anyone has every gotten up the tower is 164 floors.

Ryūki, A high-school boy. He Is 15 years old and lacks social skills, he is often very quirky and shy. He has black messy and fluffy hair, he also have deep red eyes. Ryūki's father had went missing in the tower of Ryker out of nowhere when he was 5 years old, His father was very skilled in combat and was a smart person overall, his father was at the top of the charts, so it doesn't make sense how his father just disappeared like that. After this, his father was said to be dead even though there was no proof. he made a promise to himself that he would find out what happened to his father.

Ryūki's father loved the tower and so after he went missing Ryūki made up his mind, he wanted to make his father proud by going even higher than he ever went and to make it to the top of the tower – This is his ultimate goal.

Ryūki is walking to his first class

"I really don't want to be here today... I'm so tired."

he said while yawning and minding his own business, Ryūki looks at his watch, he Is running late.

"Dammit.. I'm running late!..."

he begins to run to class, out of nowhere he bumps straight into a girl. They both fall to the ground.

- Slam!

"I-im sorry please forgive me!"

Ryūki says while getting up and offering his hand out to help her up, She looks up and grabs his and he pulls her up.

"Hey! Can you watch out where you're going next time Asshole!?"

She says In a pissed off tone.

"I said I'm sorry m-miss I'll do anything to make it up to you".

He says while stuttering and getting down on his knees clearly over reacting, as he is doing this other students began to watch him and the girl.

"Hey! Get up... stop over reacting."

Ryūki looks at her with a confused and surprised face.

"Y-you want m-me to get up?"

He says in a unsure and broken voice.

"Yes! Get up... you're making a scene, you do know everyone is looking at us right?"

She says as people all around watch them, whispering about how weird Ryūki is being.

"Oh! I didn't r-realize."

Ryūki is clearly embarrassed from what he had just done.

"How about we talk in private, You know just so people can stop looking and stuff".

She says while walking up to Ryūki and grabbing his hand taking him to a empty classroom.

"Hey I'm sorry... I said all of that in a rude tone and I guess I made you over react so.. I'm sorry about that, I'm Matsubara nice to meet you"

Matsubara Kiyomi, also in the same grade as Ryūki, she has silky midnight blue hair, and pretty dark blues eyes. She is often seen as a leader and outgoing, the opposite could be said about Ryūki.

Ryūki still looks a little shy.

"Uhm.. it okay and it's my fault for bumping into you so please don't apologize, oh and my name is Ryūki Shiro, Nice to meet you."

Ryūki said in a shy voice since this is the first time he's introduced himself in about 9 years.

"Hey Ryūki, are you okay? you seem shy or something?"

Matsubara looked at him with a worried expression on her face.

"Y-yeah I'm a bit shy you know?.. I just, I don't have very good social skills".

Ryūki said with embarrassed face.

"Oh, I understand... hey would you be interested in me helping you trying to get over your shyness ryūki?

Ryūki's face lights up with a smile.

"Really!?.. you would help me out?..."

"Yeah, of course ill try and help you get over your shyness, think of this as a sorry for being such a bitch this morning.."

Ryūki has a true and greatful look on his face.

"Thank you so much Matsubara!!!"

Outside the classroom, other kids are looking around in confusion due to Ryūki's loud voice.

"What was that?..."

"I don't know, that's strange huh?"

Said random students.

"Hey.. so uhm... when will we start?"

Ryūki says with a excited look on his face while moving his hands in a circle in a silly way.

"We will start tomorrow, I'll introduce you to my friends and other people, your job is to try and not be so nervous okay?... and I'll be pushing you out of you comfort zone too.

Matsubara says while leaning forward pointing at him with a smile on her face.

"O-okay... I understand"

"Alright then."

The two go through the rest of the day– Ryūki can't help but be excited for the next day so he rushes home.

Ryūki walks in his kitchen.

"Hey mom... hey sis"

"Hello Ryūki..! Welcome home~"

Says his mother.

"Hey little bro!.. Welcome back!"

Ryūki looked at his older sister.

"Hello Keneko... how are you?"

Keneko looks at him with a smile on her face

"I'm good thank you for asking, Ohhh, look at you being all mature and talkative~"

She says with teasing tone.

"You got yourself a girlfriend or something?"

Ryūki's face lights up red.

"H-hey! Shut up keneko!"

He lightly hits her on the arm

-slap!..

"Now if you say anything like that again... I won't hesitate to do more!"

He says in a fake serious voice.

"Alright! Alright... I understand your majesty~"

She says that in a teasing voice again

Ryūki smacks the back of her head

-SMACK!

I SAID STOP!!

Keneko lays on the ground.

"I was just kidding around!!! You didn't have to hit me so hard!"

"Well maybe I wouldn't hit you if you weren't such a pain in the ass.."

Keneko is still on the ground laughing hysterically at what he said and rolling around.

"Hey I said to stop!!"

Ryūki looks at her while holding and clenching his fist in front of her with an angry expression on his face.

"Right, right... sorry it's just... you've change a bit and it's kind of cute you know..."

Ryūki blushes and looks away.

"F-fine... I'll let it go.. just don't do it again please?"

"That's fine with me Ryūki"

After a few more hours of talking and messing around Ryūki eats with is sister and his mom – After that he goes to his bedroom and lays down still not forgetting that Matsubara was going to help him overcome his shyness and have better social skills.
