To Be A Deity

[April '20] This story follows the path Jun takes after having his village destroyed by gods, and having one of them use him as a vessel. Surely he can't be the only being on the planet with this newfound power. He must venture now to save hidden celestial beings from an entrapment, and fix what went wrong. This story is in the present-tense. These things are meant to be happening to you in the moment - all of you - even though it’s based some time ago. There is a blend of the English and American language. Any “misspellings” of the grammatical differences are intentional, and my own preference. As long as you know what I mean, this story hasn’t been lost to the ages. This writing was originally meant to be a game. One that you can play. So a lot of what is here relies heavily on visuals, which is a bit of a problem. I hope your imagination is flexible. I have sprinkled this pseudo-gameplay with hints of its future, and references of our World. It would be interesting to see what you can find! Many species are humanoid. They are more simply described as “people”. You get the general idea. Art by u/Luscine ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The world is ever-shifting. To Be A Deity will spawn 13 side-stories, then incur a name change. The name change will spawn 26 side-stories, then incur a second name change. Thank You, June

I am sorry to disrupt your reading but I feel it's important to clue people in on everything.

I do have a Discord where I can clue people in as I go, but it's a little different everywhere else.

During July, I'd like to take this extra time I have to go back and fix mistakes I may have missed. I have had some reviews bring up issues with me that I am not aware of so I thank all reviewers for things like that. Spending your time to ensure I put out my best is always wholly appreciated.

I have made the executive decision to start each month with a heartfelt thanking, and also to start this month off by switching to multiples of 7.

Yes, I will be switching from 7 days writing, 7 days break. I will now try upload only once on Fridays for this month, and see how it goes.

I would like to thank everybody personally but I feel that would get annoying to be bothered so much, so I will instead run the numbers and thank you all from the bottom of my heart at once.

From Quotev: I would like to thank all those beautiful users for 222 views, and 15 followers.

From WebNovel I would like to thank all those handsome fellers for 1.6k views, and 2 followers.

From Wattpad I would like to thank all those lovely padders for 59 views.

From Inkitt I would like to thank all those wonderful inkies for 3 followers, and 1 Heart.

From Tapas I would like to thank all those who found my stuff for 57 views.

From Writer's Cafe I would like to thank all those wanderful writers for 570 views. (The numbers have been ramping up recently, I apologise for putting a wet towel on your parade)

From Tumblr I would like to thank Mr. E for 1 Heart.

From Young Writer's Society I would like to thank the kindhearted two to whom left me 2 reviews. Woo.

From RoyalRoad I would like to thank all those curious cats for 795 views, 1 follower, 1 favourite, 4 reviews.

Overall, 3,303+ views, 21 followers, 1 favourite, 2 Hearts, 6 reviews (since 2023.6.1). An overwhelming love to an old idea I've had for a while, I can't thank you all enough.

Tl;dr

Thanks. Uploads moved to Friday.
