'It's been a long time, I don't remember the exact location of the parchment. I told my Master about the landmarks around, but four years are enough to change all of them.' Thinking up to this, I decided to go there to check myself again, if only to put my master at peace.
Of course, there was also my underlying intention, my overwhelming curiosity to learn knowledge about runes that drew me to that parchment.
After all these years, I finally began to understand basic runes, much better than some Grade-3 mages but I still didn't think I could understand one bit of ancient runes.
There was a high probability of that parchment containing ancient runes. I had a hunch.
Those runes gave me a feeling that understanding a part of them would open up a path to something grand and strangely not understanding them didn't make me give up, as I felt the increasing familiarity and calmness within me.
