Chapter 34 : Summon the Champion

Yuki didn't think much about the chat.

He had many things to do, after all.

A giant slid behind her, firing multiple bullets. It was a giant robot about 5 meters tall.

Endlave. It was a humanoid combat machine controlled by pilots through the mind.

This was the Void Genoma. She had stolen this genetic weapon. It was very valuable and also fragile.

"Inori Yuzuhira: Please, help me... I need your strength."

Walking with difficulty, Inori disappeared into the night.

"Yuki Uchiha (Champion):.... I understand. Get ready for the summoning."

"Inori Yuzuhira: I'm ready."

Running, Inori had reached a floating bridge.

A small robot approached her; it was white and had four legs.

"Please, Funell, give this to Gai."

Opening the small robot, there was a small special space inside.

Inserting the genetic weapon, Inori prepared to escape. However.

An Endlave had followed her, locating its target; the giant robot fired.

Embracing the small robot, Inori used her own body to protect the weapon. However, the Endlave had only cut off her escape route.

"Yuki Uchiha (Champion): Alright, I'll be there in 10 seconds."

[Do you want to summon the Champion? [Yes] [No]]

Without wasting time, Inori mentally clicked on [Yes].

[Preparing Champion Summon 10...]

Seeing that his shot had cut off the escape route, the combat Endlave slid and prepared to capture its target, but not before encountering something invisible.

The camouflage dissolved, revealing another Endlave; this one was gray. Both Endlaves clashed with their metallic claws.

"I've got you covered! Take him to Gai, quickly!"

Said the Gray Endlave, turning its head; red eyes glowed in the darkness.

"Come on, Funell."

Looking at the floating screen with the countdown, Inori gritted her teeth while running. She was close to completing her mission.

*Click

"Damn!"

However, seeing her target flee, the combat Endlave wouldn't stand idly by, activating missiles, it ruthlessly fired.

"Kya!"

Inori, who was running, was hit by the missiles. The impact force made her small body fly.

With small spins, her body fell from the bridge.
