That day, Pike was cooking at home when he suddenly heard the sound of a car engine outside, so he went to the door to take a look. To his surprise, several cars had arrived, and a few people who looked far from ordinary got out, including an exceptionally beautiful woman.
"You're Pike," Helen sized him up and then added, "I heard about last night, and I'd like to ask you a few questions."
"What about?" Pike frowned, sensing these people had come for Gu Fan.
Helen continued, "Last night you went to a seafood restaurant to collect a debt, but you didn't get the money. Then you got into an argument with the restaurant staff and ended up fighting. The restaurant had more people, and you took a beating."
At this point, Pike felt uncomfortable, as it's always displeasing to have one's misfortunes brought up.
"Then two Easterners, a man and a woman, stepped in to help you, and the woman was quite pretty," Helen observed Pike's astonished look and knew she had hit the mark.
