validation of feelings

Panda who was standing outside snickered, she never thought that a day will come when Lion would use such a corny way. Zack held Lily's hand and rubbed it gently to express his care. Lily pouted " your anger is pretty scary, it gave me goosebumps". Zack sulked " but my love is pretty sweet". Lily removed her hand from his grip " who needs your love it's not like I am your girlfriend". Zack wanted to protest but a thought came to his mind " he never proposed his women. How can he be so stupid".

He again held her hand and gave what he thought was his sweetest smile. But being a soldier sweetness was not his forte and it came out as grimace Lily was not in the mood now, if he was in uniform she would have never done what she was going to do now. She pulled his collar and pointed towards the door " get out". Zack looked at Lily and then at the door with shocked expression. Noone in his entire 30 yrs has asked him to get out. Before he could say anything she pressed the call bell and said to the military nurse who was quick in arrival. She said with a polite smile " sister please take this man out he is disturbing my rest".

Sister Maria who worked at Knight family military hospital for 35 yrs knew all the young masters and she gulped in nervousness as she looked at red faced General Zack. Still to maintain professional attitude she said " young man I think you should leave. This lady needs her rest". Zack with red faced moved out of her room but stationed himself at the gate. When Sister Maria came out she saw him sitting outside looking gloomy. She patted his shoulder because he looked as if he needed some guidance.

She sat next to him " do you like the girl General Zack". Zack first wanted to reject her as he felt ashamed but he knew he needed a women touch to impress Lily. He looked at Sister Maria and pointed towards the door " she is angry but I don't know how to appease her". Maria smiled " is she your girlfriend". Zack rubbed his nape " the way I treat her is very different from other people I think she would have understood that she is my girlfriend".

Maria snickered " it's true that action speaks louder than words but in this case an official proposal is needed as she may feel insecure about your feelings towards her". What sister Maria said was absolutely correct as Lily was sitting inside the room thinking the same thoughts. She felt nice and warm with Zack and her heart knew she love him but she was unsure what she was for him a responsibility, a fellow soldier under his command or a woman he has feeling for. She needed some validation for her feeling.
