'Sekai', the world's best RPG game.

Only a few million in the world got their first copy. Kamisato Daiki, a worker in the company got his hand on the first edition print.

Kamisato was a day shift worker who was a hardcore gamer during the night. After beating countless RPG games via an exploit, the devs of Sekai saw this.

The devs wanted to make the game challenging and exploit less. They hired Daiki and saw how he played, implementation of many exploits and their fixes took place.

At last, Sekai was created after the downfall of its previous game 'Defrag Me'. Daiki managed to beat the game using exploits and started abusing the leaderboard leading him to several bans.

An urban legend sort of person he became. The infamous ' (|||||||||||||||| aka Barcode name), he started to be called that due to his name resembling a barcode.

On a normal morning, Daiki's dead body was found after the neighbours saw his open door for hours. After the police investigation, the computer was taken into custody. His family was informed about his death, and the family was in grief.

After a while of thinking about realism, he saw he woke up in this game world. He slapped himself a few times, it hurts like real life. He was confident, this was not a dream nor was he hallucinating.

A screen was in front of him. It was constantly asking him for the name without a stop.

He wanted to type but there was no keyboard.

"I wish there was a voice chat keyboard in this."

The system listened to his request and changed its settings to fit the user.

After that, Daiki began looking around the place he was in.

He said, "Map Open."

A map opened at the top corner, he asked the system to make it larger.

A town he could see, but it was far away. The town was called, 'Town Of Rosary'. It was a faraway town only if he could cross the forest and the hills without getting himself killed by the mobs on the way.

After playing so many RPGs he knew that the mobs spawning outside the town will all agro if you get close. He had no weapons, and no means of communication with other players if they were as well in the world of Sekai with him.

With a look of a bad omen, the player with no weapons has to kill high-tier mobs.

As the sun sets, a challenge sets forth his way.

The hounds spawn on the road he was in. To save his life he runs away from them, feeling pain and dying was the worst he could have had. He had to find something to defend himself.

His breathing intensifies.

As he was running, he grabbed a few stones and sticks to at least get a weapon from his skill 'BlackSmith'

"CRAFT!"

A stone short sword forms in his hands.

The blacksmith skill has now come in handy.
