A Monster Inside?

I soon wake up on a bed, I seem to be at the nurses' office.

"Ah, you're awake!" Ms. Sullivan says.

"What happened?" I ask.

"Well, long story short, you turned into a monster and went haywire on Marko," she explains

"What even was that?" I ask.

"Well, you have something called a symbiote, a monster from a different planet that gets a host and they usually conquer the host, but it seems to be within you this time," she continues to explain, "appears when you had that car crash, the symbiote went into you and helped you survive."

I guess that's how I survived a car crash...thanks to the symbiote.

"Wait how did you know I was in a car crash?" I ask

"Long story, but I remember studying about these creatures, you seem to have Instinct, a cousin to venom and a more electronic and Ultron.," she says and shows a picture of it.

It was a venomous looking monster. It was grey with metal and metallic looking. The eyes were slightly tinted yellow as the pupils are red. The monster was tall, around 6 feet. It had thousands of sharp teeth and a tongue longer than a claymore and boarders around the side of the cheek. It looking like Ultron for some reason.

"I looked like that!?" I ask.

"Yes indeed," he says, "apparently what it did to your body isn't bad at all, it improved some of the weaknesses you have before to know. Listen, I knew about this so that's why I made you attend to this school."

"Thanks a lot for that Ms. Sullivan," I say as I sit up.

"Give it a bit of a rest, I'll let you stay the night along with Miyasaki," she says.

"Thanks, wait what?" I say, but she snaps to disappear and Miyasaki walks in along the other two.

"Hey, you doing alright?" She asks.

"Yeah, I don't feel a single scratch on me," I say.

"Well, if you don't mind, I'll stay with you for the night, you need some rest," she says.

"What time is it?" I ask.

"It's 9:56 PM," she says.

"Well, I'd better get some sleep, thanks for coming," I say as i close my eyes.

"Good night, Anzai," she says, kissing my forehead.

I soon wake up and Miyasaki laying her head on the bed. I chuckle and rub her head, feeling her soft blue hair, then to her ears. The soft sensation of fur pleasures my hand on the feeling. She soon wakes up.

"Mngh…A-Anzai?" she says looking at me with a drool mark, but I couldn't resist laughing.

"You got a little drool on your chin," I say.

"What? Oh, thanks," she washes her face at the nearby sink, "so how are you feeling?"

"Better than I can move again," I get off of the bed and I notice she was blushing.

"W-well thanks again for what you did yesterday," she says.

"Yeah, anytime that apparently, we're dating now," I say.

"Y-yeah, my parents said I have to marry you now," she says.

I blush in response, of course, she meant to use me to remove her proposal from Marko, but I never knew this was serious. "R-really?" I ask.

"Yeah," she says.

A few minutes later, we get out of the nurse's office and head to the cafeteria. I got the usual starter top ramen with hot coffee to start my day. I soon meet up with Akio and Kokizaki.

"Hey Anzai," the two say.

"Hey there," I respond.

"You feeling better?" Kokizaki asks.

"Yeah, it felt like nothing hit me," I say.

"Oh my, I heard you're one of those mutated monsters," Akio says.

"How'd you know?" I ask.

"I was there at the fight, who knew you were actually a symbiote, someone who got the monster ability by accident instead of being born with it," she explains.

"Oh…" I say.

You must be lucky. The voice says.

"Yeah, wait what!?" I say.

"Anzai?" Miyasaki asks.

"Sorry, it's the voice again," I say then Ms. Sullivan walks to us.

"Hey Ms. Sullivan," Kokizaki says.

"I hope you don't mind me sitting with you, I need to tell you three something," she says.

"Alright go right ahead," Akio says.

"So if you didn't know, Anzai has a symbiote in him. In no way possible it's killing him, so that's a good thing. But every once in a while, it will talk to him in his mind so if he talks out of nowhere, you all will understand why," she explains drinking her coffee.

"Okay, thanks for the info," Kokizaki says.

"Now you girls better be gentle with him," she giggles.

"I will~," Akio says.

In response, I blush to shake my head to wash out what I just heard. After breakfast, we walked towards the main campus and head to class before school starts.
