Aaaand, the last golem is down.
"I didn't expect you to give me such a fun challenge, but I'm not complaining." I murmured under my breath.
It turns out fighting almost one hundred decently strong opponets is quite exhausting, even with my 200 stamina.
The dead golems, made of blood, started to liquify and sipped back into the soil and got soaked up by the roots, but more than half of them remained on the surface. Those are the ones I froze with chilling touch, as they couldn't melt.
The goat head's mouth shut again, this time slowly, and then started to open with the same pace. All of the blood which didn't get frozen was now forming into a sphere, and all the blood which he took from those people was now also gathering in that same sphere.
"I woudn't want to touch that." The sphere started boiling and hot steam spread all around.
Okay, so.. is he going to shoot that thig at me? Cause if that's the case I can just avoid it by running at full speed, and if it's really fast I'll TP.
What I didn't expect, however, is what happened next.
"Hwah?" I made a weird sound as I suddenly fell to the ground. The goat head started doing a wiggle of sorts, and at the same time everything around started getting pulled into the boiling blood, where it then got incinerated as if it in never existed in the first place.
"Gravisphere. I've heard of this skill before, but seeing it for real is different." I sunk my feet into the ground and started walking away from the deadly sphere, slowly taking one step at a time to ensure I don't get sucked back.
What makes this skill so brutal is that it also pulls mana and skills, so if I were to use my manipulators or TP right now, I'd end up being sucked up.
Walking got a little easier, now that I had some distance, and I let my guard down for just a second, which is when I got knocked off of my feet.
"Damn, I forgot that you can make shockwaves. You fucking.. Goat!" I was lauched into the air by that shockwave, and since I was already being pulled into the sphere I used [devastating attack] while flying at it, which ended up giving me a ludicurous speed boost as I flew at the goat head and puched him with all my force.
*crack*
I forcefully shut his jaw with the momentum from the punch and the pull of [gravisphere], causing the sphere, which he didn't remove in time, to burn his mouth from the inside.
"HeeEEE" The head started hissing, and eventually turned the sphere off.
It was unable to cast any more spells with a broken jaw and a burnt mouth, so I summoned the manipulators back and started slashing away at it, until it was nearly dead.
Okay, I've got a lot of question to ask the head and if I were to kill it right now, I would have no answers, so I'll wait until [potion master] goes off coldown and make a potion which specifically heals the vocal chords, so that he could only speak and not cast any spells.
I don't even feel the usual victorius feeling I get when I defeat someone, cause this guy pretty much just killed himselft.
The fight was so fun, but, damn the ending was disappointing. Sure, the cerberus also sort-off killed himself, but that was different cause the fight was legitemately hard and the cerberus had the upper hand.
I hope the next boss will have more to offer..
Hmm, so how am I supposed to spend the rest of the 22 hours I have until the skill is off coldown?
~~~
I guess the first thing I should do check up on Fanta, Coke and Sprite, because I just left them abruptly.
"Haa! Could you not do that please. Just poofing into existance like that.. haa." Well that was a good reaction. I wish there were cameras here, cause it was golden.
Hm, maybe I should get a device that can record, whether it's a magical one or not.
"So, you three are fine I see? That's great, but what now? You can't just stay in this town, now that it's become deserted." I pointed out.
We had a little chat, and they wanted to stay here for the time being. They have a social way to leave and they don't want to tell anybody, so I'll just secretly watch them leave when they do.
No, this is not stalking. I'm just.. getting some information. Let's call it snooping.
I pulled out some wyvern meat and Cerberus blood to get my long awaited snack, and honestly it's not too bad. With the salt, which I've still got a lot of, and some spices - mainly pepper, this is quite good.
I know, previously I hated it, but I've kinda just accepted the bad quality, and now it doesn't seem so bad anymore.
Also, now that I can completely stop the time inside my inventory, I can store food like salads and other things which would normally spoil, rot, and just generally decompose.
Hey, person. I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
This time, I’ve got nothing to say. But do watch out for bees.
Goodbye~
