Chapter 1 | A what?

A woman that appears to be in her late 20s was walking down on a street while the rain was pouring down heavily. She took off her 2 inch heels and walked down barefoot, she appears to be crying while her makeup was smeared all over her face. It just looks like a scene from a Korean drama.

"That bastard.." She mumbled while crying in the middle of the rain.

She looked like she was in the verge of collapsing. After 2 minutes of walking down the street, she went and walked to the other side of the street, she didn't realize that there was a car driving with such a high speed towards her direction... and BAAM!

She had been hit by a car, her body flew a meter then fell to the ground with such a huge impact breaking her bones and giving her immense pain.

"Augh-" She let out a sound while the pain was striking her body before finally collapsing.

'Where am i?' Asking the question, she was confused as hell as to where she was.

The sorroundings were nothing more but a black space with no one nor nothing to be seen, nothing to be heard nor nothing to smell. It was purely just a black space with nothing at all.

Only her consciousness were there. She didn't even know why she was still conscious after that accident.

'I wonder if i still survived after that impact?' A question that lingers in her mind but she has nothing to confirm her curiosity as she was just conscious in this black space.

'Though probably not.' She thought back at the immense pain she felt that pierced through her body.

After a couple of moments, a slight sound could be heard from a distance.

'What was that?' She tried to focus more on that sound as to where it came from and to confirm if that was actually a sound or just a pigment of her imagination.

The sound grew closer and closer and more clearer as time went by.

[Hello]

'Ahh' Startled by the sudden voice that she just heard.

[Congratulations, you have been selected as the 4th user to aquire a system]

'Syste- what?' Her head full of confusion on how on earth this voice was talking to her and what it just said.

[You have been selected to aquire our newest upgraded system]

'What on earth are you talking about?'

[To summarize it, you are chosen by the system to be it's user]

'No like, please explain this system thing, like what is it?

[A System is a high ranked tool or device in humanly terms, users use it to get more powerful by completing tasks or missions given by the system. The system guides you and also makes you learn more efficiently depending on the task that you had completed. It gives you Points after completing each tasks given to you and you can use those points to get better at a specific category. Be it a talent that you want to improve or a skill. Most users use their points to get physically stronger to fight out their enemies but since you're from a planet like Earth #0365. Something out of the business category or the money earning category would benefit you more.]

'So you're telling me that i could get wealthy or get really talented by completing just a couple of tasks?'

[To summarize it, yes you can]

'But aren't i good as dead after that car accident? I mean from that pain i felt, i dont think i'd survive after that.'

[As you are also a VVVIP member for meeting a few conditions throughout your lifetime, you will be allowed to get transmigrated to a new body that is in a comatose state that have no hopes for survival right now.]

'Wouldn't i die a second time then?'

[Don't worry the system will help you, you are going to wake up after transmigrating in that body. The new body has been through a car accident just like you. Everything might be different on what you're used to, since this is a different dimension that we will be entering.]

'We? So you're coming with me then?'

[Because i am the system]

'Oh were you talking in third person then?'

[I guess you could say that]

'Anyways, a different dimension? will there be magic or powers then?'

[It is still the same as the earth that you know of, but in a different dimension.]

'Oh'

[But the timeline in this earth is much earlier than your earth, this earth that we'll be entering is Earth#0356. Each number adds one year so Earth#0356 is in 2012 while Your earth which is Earth#0365 is in 2021 right at this moment.]

'So technology will be back to the flip phones?'

[There are touch screens in 2012 in your earth too. But this is a different dimension so even though it's 2012, technology probably improved faster here]

'Ahh'

[Enough chitchatting, we are already late so we have to get going and make sure to get mentally prepared]
