Chapter 2: the 10(00000) year old witch

Liza was not someone to hallucinate, but for some reason ended up sipping tea with a child witch, who said she died in a car(truck) accident.

she woke up in a bright room with a long table with two chairs facing across each other, and there was a big door that was facing her, at first Liza thought this was some weird dream so she sat down on the chair as if waiting for something to happen.

She has never been in such a dull dream, but out of nowhere, there was a table in front of her, delicious food appeared out of no where, but just as she was about to grab a piece of the delectable treats in front of her, the doors suddenly burst open.

And there standing, a little girl who looked like she was cosplaying as a witch, Liza thought this was a pretty weird dream, judging by the child that entered fully dressed in what she thought was a witch costume with a wig, cause the child seemed to have dark purple hair, sure the kid could've just dyed her hair but hair dye doesn't necessarily make someone's hair shiny like the kid's right!?

The little witch-child sat down and out of nowhere a cup of warm aromatic tea appeared within her hands and she wasn't even surprised, well, Liza was freaked out by both the tea in her hands and the no-reaction from the little witch.

Trying her best to divert her eyes from the little cosplaying witch in front of her, the witch spoke up in a very calm and collected manner "I guess you must be wondering what you're doing here or you must think you are in some kind of dream, well... I hate to burst your bubble but you are dead", Liza was so shocked, that she needed a minute to process the information she was given by the witch-child, out of suspicion she bursted out, "who are you to tell me I'm dead, also you're just a little girl, so what if you're just spouting nonsense!?". "first of all, I am the grand witch of all the realms in existence, and second of all, I am 1000000 years old, so clearly I am your elder".

Without taking into consideration about Liza's reaction to the news the witch-child continued on "after you died, I decided to take in your soul and conscious, so that you would be the third person to inhabit a so-called lady's body, now there will be one task, that will be very important to you". She sipped her tea LOUDLY. "you are to fall in love with someone, and you also have to make the person reciprocate your feelings, two very simple tasks that two others have failed in completing".

this was oddly vague towards Liza, then the witch-child continued on "you see, there was once a fair maiden born of noble lineage, but she did not like the traditional rule of marriage, that all nobles had to follow. she didn't want to be forced to marry a stranger, but she wasn't able to catch feelings for anyone either, so when it was her coming-of-age ceremony, she decided to make a contract with me, the grand Witch". She picked up a biscuit. "she was willing to give her body to another wandering soul, so that they could find true love, since she couldn't find one herself."

Liza was starting to process things, and she had begun to accept and understand her situation. she had seen this scenario dozens of times in the novels and mangas she had read. So how hard could it be? maybe she'll really find true love?

While Liza was deep in thought, the witch had interrupted her. "oh, and you have a deadline of 2 years." before Liza could protest, the witch-child had whipped out her wand, and "BAM!". Liza disappeared.
