Chapter 106: Personal Gratitude

Mu Zi Xing was deliberately exaggerating because she partially wanted to help me get those rabid fans off my back. Of course, her main reason was to tease me, but the results were all that mattered. I was relieved when the rabid fans belonging to Zhou Xin Qi finally backed off, allowing me to run to the cafeteria.

Even they weren't stupid enough to attempt an abduction of me when a supposed "VIP" was waiting for me. They didn't want to get into trouble. It was possible that this wouldn't just end with them being punished…but even imprisoned.

Zhou Xin Qi looked unhappy but she was barred from pursuing when Si Nan and Mu Zi Xing stood in her way. I nodded at my two friends gratefully before I left for the cafeteria.

Upon reaching the cafeteria, I immediately identified the "VIP" – she was far too visible and recognizable. Indeed, almost every single student in the cafeteria was staring at her in a mixture of awe, envy and desire.
