Soon enough, the Harpy that is apparently called Olliana successfully brought Victor to the Harpy Village.
Unlike the neighboring Happiness Village, Harpy Village was truly unique in Victor's point of view, and also big enough to be called 'town' rather than 'village'. The habitations weren't built in the conventional manner, and it used the presence of this unnaturally massive forest at its advantage by existing over the equally massive tree branches in a vertical manner.
The field that the Harpy Village covered was equal to that of Iliasville, but the houses were also 'piled' over each other, at least one house for each great branch of these gigantic trees.
How massive they are, you might ask? Well, imagine a tree that appeared back in Babylonia's age, and started to grow up from there. Now, remove any possible disaster such as heavy storms, lightning, tornadoes, and everything else that might damage the tree and let it grow up until today.
You see how massive the tree gets?
Now double it in thickness and triple it in height, this is how monstrously tall these trees are. You could even see these trees out from space!
Hell, even now, while Victor is flying to a height that will certainly kill him no matter what, unless he buys a parachute in the middle of the skyfall, could barely see the top of these trees.
It kind of reminds Victor of a phrase he had heard back when he watched Bleach… 'As King, all of Hueco Mundo's skies are the roof of my castle.'
That quote would most likely fit the current Queen Harpy, seeing how the massive trees were making up the roof of her village, and they were tall enough to reach the clouds. But considering that the Harpies can fly, that shouldn't be a problem… Although, it might be quite harsh doing all the way over the tree to reach a house in particular with one's feet.
Climbing one of these trees without flying is comparable to a fucking marathon…
Still, because of their size, the number of trees in sight could be counted in two hands, so that might be one of the disadvantages of using them as a foundation for the village.
Olliana brought Victor towards one of such trees and stopped in front of a wooden house hanging on a thick branch. However, she was merely flapping her wings in front of that house.
"Hey, Deria!" Olliana called out, and a dozen of seconds later, one of the windows at the sides of the door opened widely, revealing another brown-feathered harpy with brown hair.
"Hello, Olly! You found a new husband, huh? Congratulations!" The harpy, Deria, greeted Olliana with a happy smile as she shifted her gaze between Olliana and Victor.
Olliana nervously stared at Deria and asked. "Sorry for disturbing you, but… I need some help."
"???" Deria raised an eyebrow. "Help with what-Owww…"
Just as she was talking, she finally noticed Victor's bandaged leg and winched. She scratched the back of her head with her wing and said. "Olly, why did you pick a cripple? You know the rules, no cripples and people with heart problems."
"I know… I just didn't see that part of him when I carried him away, and I was already some distance away by the time I noticed this. Can you please help me land him at my home's platform?"
Deria sighed before she jumped over the window's edge with a crouched back. "Fine…"
She lightly jumped away and flapped her wings, approaching Olliana and Victor. She looked down to Victor and awkwardly said. "I apologize for my friend's actions. Don't be scared though, we will do our best to not harm you in any way."
"Oh, speaking of being scared… Did you know that he didn't struggle at all?" Olliana commented, surprising Deria.
"Really? That's lucky for you, my husband screamed half the way to here and moved left and right; I was scared that he would slip from my talons."
"I'm just too tired for that…" Victor butted in the conversation with a blank expression. "To be fair, I'm too tired for everything in general. Can we please go already? It's uncomfortable being carried like this."
"Aye, aye…" Olliana said before both the harpies flew away, reaching another tree in the distance after one whole minute of flight. There was another house hanging over a branch, with both windows and doors opened for letting fresh air flowing in.
Olliana hovered over a platform surrounding the house, while Deria landed on it and approached Victor, hugging his waist with her wing-arms. "Alright, you can let him go."
"Okay." Olliana released Victor's shoulders before Deria extended one of her surprisingly strong wings over Victor's left arm, creating a gap where she put her head over, and began to support Victor by herself while Victor was gaining a stable footing over the platform with his only good leg.
"Are you okay? Or do you feel pain?" Deria asked, and Victor replied by shaking his head. "I'm fine."
"Good!" Deria smiled as she and Olliana brought Victor inside Olliana's house. It was quite small, comparable to the normal houses in other villages; it has 3 rooms within, and they are also well-decorated.
The lighter shade of wood used for the clean floor and walls gave off a bright atmosphere to his surroundings, and there was also a fluffy carpet in the center of the room, with a table over it. The large bed that seemed to be made from soft and fluffy feathers was lying on a corner of the room, and judging by how almost everything was in this room, he guessed that the other two rooms were the kitchen and the bathroom…
...Speaking of bathrooms, how does it even work up here? Do they just flush the toilet and let the waste fall from the sky? Or is there some kind of magic? ...Maybe they don't even have a toilet and that's just the storage?
Victor was brought to the bed and sat on its edge, while Deria let go of his shoulder and stepped away.
"Alright, I'll go to call the Queen, I'm sure that her Healing Dance can recover your leg!" Deria said before she walked away, and Victor quickly raised his tone, knowing that the bones within his broken leg couldn't be fixed with a mere healing spell.
"Hold up-!" Just as he finished his short sentence, his mind got caught up with a new thought. Although no normal magic can repair his leg without the bones sprouting out due to their growth, there is actually something else that the Queen can do…
"Hmm?" Deria stopped on her bird feet and turned around. "Is there something wrong?"
"No, nevermind." Victor shook his head, making Deria shrug at his weird behavior. The harpy walked out of Olliana's house, leaving the two alone.
Olliana sat on Victor's side and awkwardly shuffled her fluffy legs. "...I'm really sorry for taking you here, it is entirely my fault. The Queen had said to avoid taking the cripple and those with weak hearts, so please don't take it against her."
"I don't really care about that now, I've been in worse situations." Victor replied, making Olliana look at him.
"Really? You aren't angry?"
"I've been assaulted by two different monsters within 6 hours, you make the third in the whole day. I might be getting a bit stressed, but if I had to be angry at you, then I would be going on a rampage the previous two times." Victor commented as he lay back on the bed and relaxed.
"That makes me glad. This is the first time I am doing this kind of stuff, so I don't know what to do if you hold a grudge against me…" Olliana replied to Victor as she smiled.
It took barely 1 or 2 minutes before Deria came back with another harpy. Deria poked out from the outside of a window and waved at Olliana with her wing. "Hey, Olliana, I've brought her! I'm going to return to my husband now, bye!" After giving a warning, Deria flew away.
Meanwhile, from the main door, a pale-looking Harpy stepped in the house. Unlike the Harpies Victor had seen beforehand, her feathers were of a colorful light lilac and also quite fluffy; you could make the perfect fan with those feathers… She is dressed up in a light green shirt and has a golden coronet over her head, as a symbol of her royalty.
The current Queen Harpy, Lucretia, was finally in front of Victor's eyes. Once again, he sat up on the edge of the bed for politeness.
"Good evening, Queen!" Olliana cheerfully welcomed the Queen within her living room, and Lucretia returned the greeting with a smile of her own. "Good evening to you too, Olliana. Deria has told me what is going on; next time, please look carefully…"
"Ehe…" Olliana scratched the back of her head with an awkward chuckle. Meanwhile, Lucretia turned towards Victor and bowed her head in apology. "I'm sorry for what my subject did, I hope you can forgive her…"
"I already did, there is no need to bring up this argument again." Victor commented.
"Good then." With a relieved expression, Lucretia nodded and approached Victor. "My name is Lucretia, the Queen Harpy and leader of Harpy Village. May I know your name?"
"Victor, Victor Luis. It's a pleasure to meet you, Lucretia." Victor replied back with a nod.
"So, Victor, I think we both know why I am here. But in case, I am here to heal your broken leg so you can stand up on your feet again." The Queen spoke with a gentle tone, bringing a lot of hope for Olliana who wishes to see her 'husband' in perfect conditions.
However, it was Victor himself who broke up her hopes by shaking his head. "It's impossible, trust me. I already know how bad my leg is, and I am confident to say that no normal healing can fix that."
"Was it a claim made by a doctor? If it makes you happier, we harpies can utilize a magical dance that can give healing properties to our targets. Although normal harpies can't deal with simple fractures, that is completely within my league." Lucretia confidently spoke, but Victor didn't seem to be any more hopeful about that.
"I'm a doctor myself, although unofficial, and not a really good one, so I know what I am saying. That, and the person who made that claim explicitly told me that I'd require a high-ranking Slime to repair the many broken fragments of bones within my leg. If healing magic was used without care, then the bones would grow up and pierce through my muscles, inflicting more damage."
"Oh?" The Queen Harpy raised a curious eyebrow at that and looked down on Victor's leg. Surprisingly, she seemed to be seeing through his bandages, as if his leg was directly opened through skin and muscles right in front of her, seeing how she had an analytical expression.
Her face shifted into a worrisome one and replied. "It's true. If it was a simple fracture, I could fix that. However, there are fractures on multiple parts, causing some broken bits to be angled in the wrong way."
"Then…" Olliana frowned at the gloomy atmosphere, and before she could finish her sentence, Lucretia shook her head in her direction.
"I'm sorry, but this is beyond my power. You would need an actual expert, like a Necromancer, just to adjust the position of the bone fragments, and then carry him to someone with great healing capabilities. Otherwise, you need to do as he says and bring a high-ranking Slime capable of healing to him.
Unfortunately, I never heard of such a slime ever since I became a Queen. I have one person in mind who could possibly do it, but…"
"It's the Queen Slime, I know the deal with her." Victor finished Lucretia's words with a sigh. "Anyway, there is no need to worry about my leg, I already have it all covered by myself."
"Hmm? If that's the case, why didn't you say that sooner?" Queen Harpy asked with a curious tone, and Victor paused for a moment by taking a deep breath.
"I want to have a talk with you, if it is possible."
"...?" Lucretia tilted her head in curiosity, wondering what Victor wanted to talk about. "You may speak."
"First of all, I am not a man from Happiness Village; I'm actually a traveler who came from outside."
Lucretia had a sharp look in her eyes upon listening to Victor's sentence. "So I guess you came here because you heard about the 'kidnapping', is that right?"
"Kinda… It's more of 'being forced', but that's beside the point. Of course, I doubt you are not smart enough to figure out that I couldn't get here without friends." Victor pointed out, making the Queen Harpy nod.
"Are you saying that your friends will try to attack my village to rescue the men?"
"Yeah…" Victor nodded along.
Lucretia crossed her wings in front of her chest and stared at Victor. "I'm curious though, why would you warn me about this?"
"Because I'm willing to help you people fix the mess you have caused."
"How rude..." Olliana commented with a somber tone. "We are doing this because we are in difficulty; if we don't resort to these tactics, we will be the last remaining generation! Besides, we can't just ask them nicely to lend us their men, they won't accept our request at all..."
Victor merely shifted his gaze at her direction and spoke with a blank expression. "You do realize that you have been scraping from the bottom of the barrel, right? I would not care at all if it was simple kidnapping; I'm not a Hero, and I am certainly not a good person. But the only remaining men in the Happiness Village are two children."
"..." Olliana shifted her head away from Victor in embarrassment at being caught, while the Queen Harpy, who was originally staring at Victor with a bored expression due to her prejudice that he came here without knowing the situation, gave Olliana a baffled expression.
"...Two children?"
"I'm sorry, my Queen… We couldn't resist the temptation and decided to leave you in the dark…" Olliana apologized with a muttering voice, too ashamed of looking at her Queen in the face.
"..." Lucretia facepalmed with one of her wings and shook her head with a sigh. "I swear… This changes everything, then. The actual plan was to take a few male villagers from Happiness Village and use them to make more children; they decided to stay here rather than returning at home, but I thought that it wouldn't be a problem considering that they should have got a handful of them… But you really did empty up the village of its men."
Olliana stared down on the floor with a guilty expression upon hearing Lucretia's words. In the meantime, Lucretia looked at Victor with an apologetic expression. "I will fully take responsibility for their action and I wish to apologize for the problems I caused to you and everyone else involved."
"I'm not the one who needs apologies, so let's skip to the fixing part." Victor quickly dismissed Lucretia's words with one hand.
Lucretia held a difficult expression, and after some thought, she had an idea. "How about I forcefully send the men back to the village? We can proceed with the previous plan again, but in a greater moderation. Besides, it will be easier now that the men will not refuse my subjects like during their first time getting kidnapped."
"..." Victor merely stared at her with dead eyes, completely unimpressed by her idea. He sighed in exasperation and shook his own head… Why does he have to be the one to fix everything?
"How about you two villages join together to live in symbiosis? They will offer their men and you will offer labor." Victor asked at Lucretia, and she replied with a hardened face.
"...I doubt that will be possible. We proceeded with kidnapping because they would be refusing our idea of coexistence, due to their worship of their Goddess." Lucretia said.
However, Victor chuckled and told her back. "Trust me, they will accept the idea. They simply thought that you people were still the same of the previous generation governed by your predecessor, and were afraid of you fighting back.
Besides, even if they still refuse due to their faith towards Ilias… I have my way with my words, I'm sure I can convince them to do otherwise." After giving the two Harpies such a vague answer to the problem that Lucretia had mentioned, they simply looked at each other in a strange manner.
Should they really go along with this idea? It sounds too good to be true, if they had to be honest. Coexistence was something they wished for as a whole community, considering that human men are the only people who can give them children.
Lucretia looked back to Victor and asked. "What about the travelers who followed you here? Do they know about this?"
Victor shrugged. "Not really, but even if I let things go along without my intervention, the result will be the same. So, are we going through this or not? I don't really mind either way since it doesn't have anything to do with me."
The Queen Harpy sighed and nodded. "Then I'll trust you on this, Victor. What should we do now, though? We can't immediately set up a meeting with their village's representative, it will scare them."
Victor looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What about it? They will be scared anyway, so there is no need to bring up that problem. Let's just bring all the men in the village along with their new family and let them talk with their old families together. In the meantime, you can speak to the acting village chief about the future. I'm sure everything will be going fine."
"Alright, we'll follow your suggestion." Lucretia nodded to Victor's idea, while Olliana stared at her queen with a worried expression.
"Queen, are you sure this is a good idea?"
Lucretia sighed. "Honestly… I don't know what to do myself. At first, I thought that going along with the predecessor's idea of kidnapping some men and then turning them back in the village was a good idea.
The current generation of Harpies is more pacific than the previous one, and when the men return to Happiness Village, they can speak about how much we have changed and attract the rest of the village to live with us like your husband has suggested.
However, not only the men are too complacent to move back with their old families, now you also kidnapped the rest of the men, giving Happiness Village a bad image of us instead of what I thought of."
"I'm sorry…"
Olliana apologized to her once again, but Lucretia merely rubbed her cheek with her left wing and smiled at her. "I'm not angry at you, I'm just worried about the wellbeing of us and Happiness Village both. It is my fault for not thinking about this more carefully, I was too naive back then when I was crowned."
Lucretia's words and gestures lifted up Olliana's mood as she also smiled at her queen. Upon seeing that Olliana is now happy again, Lucretia looked at Victor. "I'll call out the others; we should be ready within one hour. In the meantime, you can enjoy it together." She said the last part with a cute wink before she walked outside the house and flew away.
Olliana's smiling face shifted to Victor as she sat at his side once again. "So… How about we'll continue what we were going to do?"
"Nah…" Victor replied with a tired voice. "I don't really feel like doing anything, to be honest. I'm just going to lay here until the time comes." He said as he sprawled his body on the soft bed made out of harpy feathers.
"You say that, but your little friend seems to disagree." With a lustful voice, Olliana commented as she rubbed Victor's half-boner with her soft wing.
"I…" Victor wanted to tell her that this was merely a reaction of the human body that happens without any need to get into the mood, but then he gave up. "You know what? Fuck it, just don't hurt me while you do whatever you want, I want to relax now."
"Okay!" Olliana said as she shuffled her wings inside Victor's pants and pulled them down, while being careful not putting pressure on his left leg. She didn't bring them all the way down and merely lowered them to a point where it wouldn't annoy her or Victor.
Within Victor's pants, there stood his half-erect penis which was probably as big as a finger in the first glance. Olliana smiled at the sight and gently sat over his hips, while spreading her legs over his member.
Victor just noticed it only now, but Olliana was wearing only a top to cover her middle-sized breasts; she wasn't wearing anything below, which was covered in her own natural feathers. So, when she spread out her legs, her pussy became visible.
The first thing she did was rubbing her own genitals with Victor's, back and forth, stroking the entire shaft with her own wet pussy. With time, Victor's dick slowly increased in length, thickness, and hardness due to the new stimulation, until it reached its peak.
When that happened, Olliana pushed her ass upwards as she lay over Victor's chest, before pointing her pussy towards the tip of the dick and then pushing it all down at once.
"Hmm~" A muffled moan reached Victor's ears as his dick immediately spread out the walls of her vagina with a single push. Even if Olliana was a monster, because of her hollow bones, she didn't bring any discomfort to Victor when she pushed her weight on him.
Her wings extended forward and hugged Victor all around his neck and head. The two looked each one in the eyes: One had an excited expression on her face as she looked at her future husband, while the other held a blank expression that was showing a tiny bit of pleasure through his breath.
Even though Victor didn't really want to go through this because he felt tired both in his body and his mind, he still went along with it and gently enveloped the harpy in a hug, although he didn't move his hips and let Olliana do everything. They looked more like lovers now, even though it was just a one-sided idea.
While Victor was having a kind of sex that wasn't like the forced sex of the Earthworm Girl, or the simple blowjob of the Bee Girl, something happened within him… It was like a fire had been lightened up, and the intensity of the mating was fueling that fire…
…
Victor Luis' (future) Trivia Book: Phoenix Girl
Phoenix Girls are one of the few bestial Harpies existing in this world, along with the Sirens, Garudas, and the ancient but extinct Quetzalcoatl.
They can also be considered as divine birds that represent immortality, with their bodies clad in flames and their unique ability to revive after death. They repeatedly reincarnate in flames, coincidental with the rumors about their existence.
However, while it might seem great, the only difference between their reincarnation and our presumed reincarnation is that they retain their original genes and instincts. As for the rest, such as memories and body size, they will all be resetted back to 0, making it more akin to our reincarnation rather than a simple revival.
Once they grow up, they can naturally shift between their normal appearance and a 'flame mode' that transforms their matter into energy made of flames shaped up in a phoenix, which is similar to the intangibility that the Angels utilize, albeit on a level that is still physical rather than spiritual.
However, when they are still young, their bodies are always in a great heat that seems to be forcing their bodies to turn into flames, but still too weak to actually do that. For that reason, the young phoenix girls are always on a high fever, and they even struggle with it.
The heat subsides while mating, as their energy is being discharged in the man through Critical Ecstasy, but that is merely a temporary solution. The only way to fix this problem is by teaching the phoenix in question how to control their magic in a way that isn't as raw as a mere fire breath.
In addition, even if you pluck their tails, these feathers still retain their ability to revive people, although it is not as strong as the leaves of the World Tree or the sacred spells of the high-ranking angels.
Also, although their reincarnation happens limitlessly, if you kill a Phoenix Girl many times in a row, they won't have enough time to regrow more tails and they will end up permanently dead once they have exhausted all of their tails.
No phoenix was harmed to obtain this information.
