He saw it from afar manifesting in the pureness of its harm. Yet, it did not move and stayed tamed like a wild beast. It did not make a sound either or considered asking for his name. To her sight, they were all visitors led by curiosity and never ever to obtain what they sought, or at least what they thought to. At that moment Robert thought of numerous things such as the town and its inhabitants who longed for the rightful sky. One that would rain out its beams and make all the shadows creep away. It was a moment to remember and not to forget its noble essence of pride and most certainly of persistence. This was something to resist for since it is leading, but towards where?

No matter how much his thoughts wilden in instability, one thing kept its consistency is his desire to obtain something at the end of this sacred walk. In pride he walked, knowing that certainty exists beneath the surface of doubt. Yet, he could never be more confused than he is now. The present moment seems to be altered at every step he made until he found himself in front of a heavy metal door that could not get any rustier. Since the moment he was born into the world the forest has always existed. It has been said that it is where all truths reside. But;

- "who is in search for truth in this lie called life?"

Robert knew that it is all a construction. It is well-based to be deformed by a single missing piece. It is a puzzle and maybe;

- "the piece I am searching for is in the forest,"

He questioned his sight as well as all of his senses. He tried to glance into the forest but it was too dark to notice anything at all. One thing is affirmative is that life is full of surprises. A person can find what they happen to want, what they have always been longing for body and soul for what seems to be an eternity in the most unexpected places. Finding it is easy but keeping it is a challenging task that demands sacrificing sometimes one's life. To lose everything is a matter of seconds. Only moments separate existing in supreme manifest and disappearing in the ecstasy of the dream. Yet, it is by choice that Robert has chosen to lose himself in the swirls of a belief to obtain a dream-like-life. One that would satisfy the need of his souls to grasp something from on top of the mountain of doubt.

True that the only mindset adapted by the serfs in such moments is doubting. The gloomy sight of that sky signified one meaning; that the sun does exist but its rays has now become conditioned. This very trait makes its manifestation prolonged to reach the impossibilities of realization. And nothing is left now but to remember the days during which things were not bound by a certain condition. When time simply happened and never really demanded to occupy a space in the hearts of its habitants. But it did occupy and still never happened. Maybe that is the reason for the void inside of their minds, manifesting in unbelief. It is noticeable that time has not changed and it is only the space that seems to widen to shape a void that never gets filled with anything at all.

The uncountable times Robert tried to fill this void with elements that would louden his belief. And, this very trait became the habit of his soul as the years passed. He still remembers the days he helped his mother in doing the house chores and escorted his father to buy the grocery from the farmer's market next to the river. Giving has always been one of the qualities that made him beyond qualified to live a life on the basis of the power of his youth. His voice rang the bells of joy in the ears of those who heard it. His feet flourish roses at every step made on the dry soils of reality, and the scent of his breath was sufficient to make the most luxurious perfumes question its originality. But it is for the stars of the town to testify;

-"what marvelous eyes such a child has!" they notified at his passage, "as if the word's secrets were hidden there,"

But it is not to tell as much as not to be told, since it is not to be chased down the allies of misfortune. The melodies of the wholesome beauty have to be hushed at the passage of such a sight. Such a light made all of the stars shrink to little pieces, turn to stone, and were quick to fade away. By so the town was left to witness the happening of the forbidden dream. And despite this, charm is still to motion on an unfertile ground, and it how charming to see or rather to glance at the fragment of hope spreading here and there like marbles of existence. And it is to be said that existing in wonder is not considered to be an existence only if it outcasts a portion of realism. It is affirmative to say that he is a star of the heaven and it is something to be prove now since the sky has become too somber to affirm this fact to the earth. Still, all of his walks are done in pride careless by the loud chants of belittlement hidden in the fogs of reality. He still hoped to establish something other what has already been established by his ancestors.

Robert knew very well that basically, his entire family tree has never had the courage to believe. To see something celestial existing in the dimmest of skies. This very trait makes his color stands out from the others and this is how he differed from the other youth and elders. Robert knew that he is different, and it is a truth that he never dared to testify. But, knowing it was sufficient to enliven he stars in his veins to shine and justify the purpose of his existence on earth. He felt like he needed to outcast the color red of his youthful blood, by maybe bleeding on battlefields, even if it meant losing utterly of them. He still participated by revealing how sacred the stars are as they twinkle in total pureness and, most certainly, innocence. But, how can the rays of innocent shine in a world that does not see the halo of such light? Or rather sees it and still chose to deny the actuality of it happening.

Such dim thoughts made the moon enlengthen its cycle and resist being replaced by any other. During its multiple phases, it resisted and persisted by shaping and reshaping its glory in the shadow of a curse called fatality. It is a belief not to believe, since believing it makes the beauty of such moments evaporate in the texture of affirmation. But, the sight of the fading stars still affirms the possibility of hope in a world where doubt has become the only option to be adapted. Even since this option has been generalized, the serfs has known no feeling other than despair. It resided with them ever since, ate from their food, and drank the same water they drink. No wonder that every proportion about their life became too toxicated to be lived. So, they only existed as a fragment of a being whose possibility of becoming an entity is hardened to become close to an impossibility. For this reason, change was quick to spread in the town, especially behavioral change.

Day by day, the serfs were changing and becoming someone else other than themselves, or rather their best selves. These transformations came in stages as the moon came in phases. Somehow, every transformation of the moon outcasted the missing piece in the lives of the serfs. But, no one considered questioning;

- "will this piece ever be found again?".

Their breath was being lost in the admiration of an ominous sphere of light shimmering in allies paved with doubt. It is to be said that Robert has never walked in such allies. During all of the adventures he dared to dream, he affirmed to himself that it was only lost to be found. Somewhere around the corners of the light of his golden heart where his faith bled in manifest. To freshened the blood in his veins after being frozen by to a spell of doubt casted on the entire town by the wound of a sorcery called time. How sad it is to affirm that time danced in circles around the unconsolidated wounds of Robert's broken heart. It never really accompanied him during his solitary roads. But still he walked in pride careless about the outcome of being a rush boy in a world that generalizes dally of walks and most certainly encourages falling down rabbit halls of the dimmest thoughts.

True that only moments are capable of changing one individual into another that does not resemble the previous one. At that moment, Robert knew that by stepping into the forest – which he did not know was hunted – he would probably not find a way out. But he is beyond courageous and willing to franchise al obstacles.

-"maybe, this is it," he thought that it is the perfect moment he has been waiting for to be an active participant in the town.

-" if I go to that forest and get back all of the serfs will look up to me and I will be the only one."

So dazzled and seduced by the originality that the sentence 'the only one' held.

-"Being the one and only",

It might be the moonlight or the pain in his heart or his unshed tears and unsaid words of goodbyes. Perhaps it is the collectiveness led to the division. The only certain thing that Robert wished for at that moment is for his thoughts to be rationalized. But, the sound of his heart was not silenced or hushed by the melodies of his broken heart. Also, the feeling of dizziness kept its constancy. Every time he looked at the forest, this feeling was felt again. Yet, something about it pulled him further closer and its sight challenged him to approach by loudening his deepest desires of being;

-" the one and only Robert, the one and only…"

Thoughts were amplifying in Robert's mind encouraging him to step forward by reducing the percentage of danger.

- " it is just a forest! What is about it?"

Robert pushed the door of the forest which opened with a mean rusty voice signaling that demons too can speak. But it is not something to think about or let it discourage his search of the shimmering light. With steady feet he made his first steps inside of the forest and started walking among its twisted trees.
