I couldn't understand what he said. I didn't know if he meant he wants me to love him or if he actually wants the real heart in my chest, between my lungs. I was confused. As I tried to ask him what he actually meant, Rebecca entered the room and interrupted us,
"Daniel, all preparations are done. Father is calling you and her."
Daniel made me walk by holding my hand in his hand. Kiki was still asleep in my other arm. We reached the mid point of corridor. Rebecca punched the wall and a door opened.
It was a luxurious and green place. Four white and enormous pillars and their roof. A coffin lying in between them. Greenery in front. Birds chirping and flying in sky. I was like getting out of a room and entering the yard of a house. A big and beautiful golden chandelier was hanging from roof just above the coffin.
It was an astonishing view. It was like someone's funeral. Daniel brought me forward and Mr. Joseph was also standing there. Some other people were there also. I didn't pay much attention to them.
I got more afraid. Someone snatched Kiki from me. I cried to let Kiki go but Daniel was holding me tightly with his hand.
Mr. Joseph came forward and said,
"I'm sorry Maya. You are really a nice person but we can do nothing! If we don't take your heart from you then our land will be destroyed."
I saw toward Daniel's face and hugged him tightly in fear. I was crying and crying. My body went cold. I was weeping and saying at the same time,
"I don't want to die! I just don't want to die! Stop it please!"
My voice faded and faded while I was crying and hugging and digging my eyes in Daniel's. Daniel's expression were telling as if he was helpless. He was sad but confused. He didn't know what to say. He kept on hugging me back and he was quiet. He continuously patted my back up and down to relax me. But I was too scared to be calm now.
The guards separated us and they brought me near coffin. I kept asking for help but Daniel's hands were locked at one place as if a chain was holding him back. We were like two lovers being set apart and we could do nothing in this regard.
I kept crying and screaming as they put me in coffin. Just when the coffin's lid was being placed, I saw something sparkling. It was a turquoise shine. That shine made a loud thunderous sound that echoed in all directions. I lifted my head to see what happened. I pushed the coffin's lid away on the ground as no guard was paying attention to me or the coffin. I stood up. I saw all the place around the coffin covered with beautiful and magical turquoise flames. It was Kiki who did this magic. A shadow arose from the smokes of fire, it was Zyr the unbeatable (aka Kiki).
But Kiki was not Kiki any longer. He had grown the size of a lion. Thick white and turquoise fur was covering Kiki's or maybe Zyr's neck. It was like a thick, wooly and soft muffler in shape of an upside down water drop and in the mid was Zyr's gorgeous and elegant face. The pearls on Kiki's tail were shining and now they were the size of a tennis ball.
Kiki started moving toward me with an elegant walk. He seemed truly like an unbeaten creature.
Everyone was lying on the ground like dead bodies. Rebecca, Daniel, Mr. Joseph, guards and those unknown people didn't move a bit.
As Kiki reached me, he saw into my eyes. He was trying to say that he was the same Kiki and I should love him no matter how he looks like….
It was a chance for me to escape and save myself. Thanks to my screaming and crying, the path to my escape is now open. Kiki was all the help that I needed.
I gently patted Kiki's head with my hand and he looked happy. He closed his eyes and looked down as he was enjoying my warm and kind touch.
I looked around and my heart wanted to help all the people on ground but why should I die. They didn't had any mercy on me then why should I? But Jessi never taught me this. She never taught me to leave people helpless.
I, along with Zyr, helped all those miserably beaten to get out of that burning place. The flames weren't spreading around like a normal fire. They remained at the places where they were fired by Zyr. Luckily there was no casualty. Everyone was breathing but unconscious.
Zyr was powerful. Very powerful to carry a hundred kg like me on it's back.
Whenever I turned, Kiki stood just in front of me as if he was signaling me to ride him. I asked him again and again if that was ok and yes, his actions told me that he could bear my weight. I had ridden Kiki till we reached a safe place. Kiki couldn't just go to the library and in front of the world so he chose the path next to that four pillars or should I say fire pillars.
I don't know what this world is and what danger awaits in the deepest of it. Now I think why this world chose me of all people? Is it because I'm special and not worthless?
Since the day, I was born, I thought of myself as a nobody, as a useless and worthless piece of rotten meat. I thought of myself as only a big heavy burden for Jessi and her family. But not any longer now. This is the start of the New Journey. Countless adventures, dangers, mysteries and creatures await me. The unknown awaits me.
"I promise, you'll enjoy my company on the paths ahead, till the end of all worlds!"
