Nevaeh had seen a fair share of horror in the past days, but she feared none would be compared to seeing a demon cast out of her, or however they were going to do it.
Her nervous eyes darted to Engel as he led her down a path with Araminta leading the way. She wondered why this had to be done outside the house, and moreso at the dead hour of the night. She had no idea where they were and where they were headed, and most importantly she wondered why they were walking when Engel could have teleported and Araminta could portal herself to the exact spot they were now walking to.
The dark cloud cast its shadow on the barely visible trail snaking through the undergrowth, as well as the shadowy, nearly sky-reaching trees. It brought a gloomy and eerie feeling. Nevaeh wasn't sure if the feeling was because of the darkness or that there was something she couldn't see.
