27) The Last Gaurdians

"Do it!"

"Waaaah!"

"STOP! I WILL DO ALL OF MY SISTER'S WORK!"

"Oh?"

A man who's skin is bright brown in colour bent and kept his face right infront a kid's face. The kid had bruises all over his body and looked really weak. Despite that, he still managed to muster up the courage to shout at the adult infront of him.

"You? In your current state?"

"Yeah. So don't beat my sister."

The little girl snuck behind the kid's back and trembled in fear. The man looked at the kid as if to mock him and said

"Fine. Do the dishes, clean the house and then go help the maids cook the food."

"Ok."

The kid seemed to be around 10 years old and the girl behind him seemed to be around 7 years old.

"B-Brother, I'm really sorry. I-I stumbled and fell down because they didn't give me food in the morning, hik!"

The boy smiled at her.

"Don't worry. I will do your work for today. Here, eat this."

He gave her a half eaten chocolate.

"The owner's kid gave me this."

He looked a little down and yet managed to smile. His behavior didn't match that of a 10 year old.

"Happy Birthday!"

He said that while feeding her the chocolate. She happily ate it.

"Thanks brother."

The boy looked really happy at that moment and said

"Take rest for three days from today. Your sprain should heal up by then. I will do your work so don't worry about it."

"B-But brother I wi-"

"Shh! Go and sleep."

The boy pushed the girl into the room nearby and closed the doors. He, then, started walking somewhere.

Aaryan slowly opened his eyes.

"Did you have dreams about those times again?"

His eyes were filled with tears. He quickly wiped them off as he saw his sister lying in his arms.

"Haha, we managed to get out of there anyways."

His smile looked like it could break down at any given moment.

"We have to go to the boss raid. Let's go."

As Aarvi got up while saying that, Aaryan also stood up.

"Yeah."

All the other party members were ready to go. As Aaryan and Aarvi joined them, Hans shouted out loud

"Let's depart!"

All the party members started moving at once. They, then spotted four orcs, almost double the size of the orc generals.

"Get ready, they are all stronger than Kart when we first met him."

"Damn, their aura is no joke."

All four of them held different weapons this time. One held an axe. One held a sword. One held a club. Finally, the last one...

"Why is that orc unarmed?"

"You don't see it?"

There was a book floating infront of the fourth orc.

"No way?! Is that an orc shaman? Why is it with the orc champions, protecting the boss room?"

"The orc planet have around 10000 orc champions. However, these three are the strongest orc champions. I heard that instead of an orc champion, there is an orc shaman in the rank #4, and it seems that really is the case."

It was Rai who explained this.

"Damn, just how strong are the orc lords?"

"These four are stronger than any orc lord other than top 15 orc lords."

"Shut up and focus. I and Lucy will take on the orc with sword. Rai, you take care of the one with axe. The one with club will be taken care of by the siblings and the other two should take care of the orc shaman. I will weaken all of them and strengthen us with my authorities so don't worry about the outcome."

Everyone naturally did what Gi Wan said and then... Hans realized that Gi Wan suddenly became the leader. He did it so naturally. He quickly evaluated the situation and assigned everyone the opponents they are the strongest against. Hans, then looked at Ryan who was already staring at him.

"He's better at it. Just focus on taking down the orc shaman."

"Yeah."

Ryan entered his stealth and sneak attacked the orc shaman dealing large amount of damage to it. Then, with a gun shot of Hans, they killed the orc shaman before it even casted a spell. Rai easily dodged the large movements of the orc champion with club and subdued it with his swordsmanship. Aaryan mostly deflected the hits from the orc champion with hammer and often used his transcendal fists to sometimes block the club. His transcendal fists were just a his move description stated. They were floating in the air and looked blue in colour and exerted strenght equal to the orc champion and moved however Aaryan moved his hands. However, this also drained a lot of stamina. In the meantime Aarvi dodged the orc's movements and killed the orc champion with constant attacks. Gi Wan constantly deflected the sword movements of the orc champion and thrust his staff, which had aura spear over it into the orc champion whenever he got a chance. While he was doing that, Lucy used alot of fireballs, ice spears and lightning chains and killed the orc champion.

"Good job. Rest for a bit, after we are all recovered, we can go get the boss."

"Yeah, that was too easy though..."

It was all over in less than 10 minutes. Hans was shocked by how smooth the fight went on and said

"Gi Wan, I am sorry for talking like I am the best at leadership. You should be the leader of the party."

"No worries. Sorry for taking on the leadership without asking you. I did it out of habit."

So he was experienced in leading people... How is he even a shut in?

"What exactly did you do to make a living in the past?"

"... Well, I was ranked #1 in the world rankings of 'Dawn Of The Fallen Knights'."

"What? Wasn't it the most trending game? And by #1, you mean..."

"Yeah, I am MrNobody_gjh1, the cocky immortal or whatever."

Gi Wan sweared at Lucy.
