Chapter Twenty-Two: Learning to control my powers

(Ava's Pov) I head back to the house leaving Jake behind at our spot. I ask mom if she can help me with my powers. Mom and I went into a secret basement/training area for us only.

Mom said "Concentrate on what element you want to use." I summoned water, since I've already used it. I focused on how big I wanted the ball of water to get. I threw the ball of water at the dummy making it fall over.

I did that several times with each element, before shifting into Lycan form. I looked over at mom in pain as I shifted and she gave me a reassuring glance. We tested how strong my Lycan was, by her coming after me. She went to jump on me, but I dodged. She tried to attack me multiple times, before we headed to the house.

I went to the kitchen to make dinner. I chopped up chicken, dipped them in eggs, and flour to fry it. I roasted asparagus and potatoes in the oven. Once, everything was cooked I yelled for everyone to come downstairs. I had Zach set the table with plates and silverware. We all sat down to eat the food I cooked which ended up being really good.

I headed out of the front door to the forest for a run in my normal wolf form. Once, I shifted I ran towards the waterfall North of our territory. I laid down and stared at the moon for a while. I felt my wolf stir all of a sudden when the wind started blowing.
