Chapter Twenty-One: Shifting into Lucan form

(Ava's Pov) Isabella looks for my sensitive spot and sink her canines into my neck. We head downstairs to make our lunch. Rebecca and Jake come in the door to look for us. Rebecca grabs Isabella and leaves with her. I eat lunch before I started to starve myself.

Jake and I decide to head to our secret spot to chill. I felt like I needed to shift, so I told Jake to hold on for a minute. As I started to shift I felt sharp pains and I groaned in pain. My bones shifted in places they weren't meant to go causing even more pain, which made me scream in pain. Jake tried to get me to focus on him instead of the pain, but it was really hard to do. Once I was completely shifted Jake looked at me with a weird look on his face. He said "What the hell" and I looked at my reflection in the lake. I shifted into my Lucan form earlier, than what Dr. Louis expected. I told Jake about my powers/abilities. He looked shocked/amazed at me and asked if this will change anything. I told him that nothing will change except having to train longer then normal. He said "Let's jump into the lake" and I got a head start to jump in first. The water felt nice on my fur and I started to see water rising on it's own. Jake looked at wondering if I was doing it, but I didn't know if I was or not. I calmed down and concentrated on the water which started to go down.
