Chapter Twelve: Heading back before I get caught again

(Spade's Pov) We quickly head to the border where Ava is already waiting for me. I kissed my mates goodbye. Ava and I run East to make it seem like I was coming back from my friend Quan's place. As we are heading back to the house Ava gets a phone call. We stop and she answers the phone. She gets excited and just talk to whoever it is for 25 minutes. She gets off the phone, so we can continue walking to the house. I asked who it was and she said it was her mate Isabella.

Once we enter the house we head to the kitchen for dinner. After we're done Ava drags me to my room and locks the door behind her. We down to a secret hiding spot in my closet. She told me that she knew how I could everyone that Wayne and Twan are my mates. I got excited and asked her how. She said "We'll make them stand in a line and give them each a card with writing on it." We started making the cards and told everyone to get in a line through Mind-Link. Ava gave them the cards in specific order. I told them to say the words in order of the line. Dad and Zach were mad, but everyone else was happy for me. Zach and dad asked if it was true about them being my mates and I told them yes. Ava and the rest of the family asked if there was a problem with my mates angrily. They said that there was no problem and I was happy. I texted Twan and Wayne telling them what happened and they were happy as well.
