Chapter Thirty-Seven: Killing Trenton in front of Beatrix

(Spade's Pov) We arrived at the Darkwood Inns withing 35 minutes. I said, "What room is he in Beatrix?" She replied, "He's in room 116." I said, "Lead the way and we'll mask our scents long enough for you to reject him." She nodded and lead us to the room. She motioned for us to go around the corner and knocked on the door. A tall muscular man opened the door to her. Beatrix opened her mouth and said, "I Beatrix Levine reject you Trenton Kale as my mate!" The guy fell to the floor holding his chest and Beatrix ran to Preston crying. I came out running and grabbed Trenton, before he could realize what was going on. He growled and attempted to escape leading me to tighten my grip on his arms. I said, "You messed with the wrong Alpha's by sending those rogues to attack mine and my mate's pack!" He replied, "Oh yeah and how exactly did I mess with the wrong Alpha's?" I said, "I'm the Lucan Queen's Brother also known as Alpha Spade Carter of the Chancellor Pack and son of the Alpha Derrick Carter. Who happens to be the previous Alpha of the Moonlight Pack, before he gave the title to my older brother Zach." He gasped and said, "How do I know that your not lying?" I replied, "You'll know that I'm not lying because Ava is here." Ava walked out in her Lycan-form and she wasn't happy. He stopped struggling and said, "I'm sorry please forgive me my Queen and my lovely Beatrix." Beatrix and Ava growled at him. I turned to Beatrix and she nodded letting me know that I can do it. I grabbed my knife and stabbed Trenton in his heart killing him. Ava walked over and Connor said, "Hey Ava." She replied, "Hey how's your mate Cecelia and your pup Gracie?" Connor said, "How did you know that I found my mate and have a pup?" She said, "Zoe and Oliver told me at my mate's pack earlier." He said, "Do I even want to know what happened with those two?" Ava replied, "Yeah, but it's a long story that can wait until another time. I've got to go, bye guys."
