Chapter Nine: Following him

(Ava's Pov) I hear howling and see Spade take off running. I decided to follow him and noticed we were South towards the Chancellor pack. He stops and growled at me to show myself. I step out from behind the tree and he relaxed a little. Spade asked why I was following him. I replied "I want to make sure your not getting yourself into trouble." He said "I'm going tell you something, but promise you won't the others because I'm not ready to tell them yet." I said "I won't say a word." He said "Wayne, Twan, and I are mates." I was really surprised, but everything made sense now. He said "We haven't marked one another because idk how to tell everybody." I said "I'll help you figure it out, but for now I'll be your cover so you don't caught again." he smiled and said "Thanks lil sis." I smiled back and said bye to him. I start heading towards the West-Side of the border. I smelt a female that was in our territory and I growled loudly. A beautiful golden alpha female came towards me. She said "Mate" with her eyes changing yellow and brown. I knew her wolf was trying to take over and so was mine I helped her calm down in order for her to control her wolf. Once she calmed down, I asked her what her name was and what pack she was from.
