Chapter 45: Keegan is Gone

Rose hadn’t interviewed for a job since she was a teenager trying to get a job in a fast-food joint. This was equally as nervous.

She hadn’t heard back from the last company she interviewed so she figured she better keep looking. Her skills were niche, but she could translate them into other fields. She could recruit. Matching a person to a job was similar, she figured so today she was interviewing with a recruiting firm.

As far as she could tell, this meeting was going well. The human resources person had brought in the man she’d be working for. She didn’t get a great vibe from him, but that wouldn’t stop her from doing the best job she could. Her parents had instilled a strong work ethic in her. She’d put her all into that fast food job. She would do no less for this company if they hired her.
