[Master I'm back!]

Memo shouted as it appeared from the shadows.

Because of its excitement Memo was late to realize that Ravir is also here.

Upon Memo's sudden arrival Ravir turned his guard up and stood up.

"Monster!" Ravir shouted and tensed his body so I gestured a hand that meant for him stay still.

I looked at Memo who stopped moving because of Ravir.

"Give it here" I said and Memo started moving again and happily went my way.

One by one Memo took out the items that I told him to get.

"You did well, Memo" I said and petted the cat as I received all the items.

"What is that, Lady?" Ravir asked while looking at the cat.

"It's my familiar" I said while organizing the things on my desk.

"Is that so.... I never heard of that beast before" Ravir mumbled while being fascinated by the cat.

"You don't need to bother thinking. It's a species that lives in the shadow and particularly avoid humans" I lied.

"It only liked me because I met it when it was still a kid and doesn't know how to be wary of someone like me. I realized belatedly that it was attracted to my black hair which is rarely seen in the Kingdom" I lied as easily as I breathe.

"C-Can I touch it?" Ravir said while still gazing at the cat.

"They're harmless although they're wary of humans. They're also very sensitive to malice so if you have goodwill towards it you won't expect to get rejected" I said and mentally sent a message to Memo to play along.

Of course that's a lie as well.

Memo's species is basically loyal to their owners but they're something that is fine with others being fond of them.

Although they're pretty smart, they don't really have the ability to feel scared of something.

In a way they can be said to be naively brave and ignorant to malice so in the future its species could be a familiar of anyone even if it's a criminal.

That's bad of course, but what can I do? The Book of Art made them that way without my involvement.

There are times when the Book of Art will fill any additional things that I didn't mean to put in.

I looked at the Stone Tablet and saw the whole map of the fortress, it's a place that is twice as big as our mansion.

It is protected by think walls that can be said to be as wide as the hallways in our mansion and it covers the whole fortress in a square shape.

In the inside of the place were five buildings built for accomodation and storages.

Four buildings are located on each side of the square where the soldiers and knights reside. It is located near the walls where everyone can easily climb up the walls to fight.

The fifth building is in the Middle which causes two separate space for a field training. It is where the commanders and captains had their offices located and where guests are welcomed to stay.

Sooner or later the Crown Prince will also stay here.

I wonder what kind of person he is. The nobles I met who's on the top are mostly arrogant, if the Crown Prince is like that and bothers my sister I will not stay still.

I looked outside when everyone slowly went back as if everything is done. My sister and Flourel can also be seen walking side by side while going towards here.

"I should get back now, Lady" Ravir said and waited for my permission to let him go.

"You're not my servant so stop acting like one and go" I said.

Ravir only smiled and left the room.

Once he's gone I then activated the Year Suspension and made the elemental spells with much more thought inside it.

Without worrying about the time I was able to make the spells more effective and useful. I even made sure that some of it has never been made before.

It took me a whole month to make the spells and because I'm inside the Year suspension I could barely feel the passage of time.

For wind magic there's: Domain, Suffocation, Behest, Smite, Gust, Cyclone Pillar, Blast, Gale blades and Tempest.

For water magic there's: Gentle rain, Flood, Burst, Familiar, Bubble, Whip, Pierce, Slice, Vortex, and Source.

For fire magic there's: Death roll, Circle of hell, Explosion, Rain of fire, Eternal Flame, Summer, Fire shot, Ghostly fire, Prison of fire, and Pillar of light.

For land magic there's: Pitfall, Groundbreak, Hail of stones, Boulder, Death trap, Stone wall, Land quake, Spilt, Stone shot, and Spear shot.

With this additional spells I used up 49 pages out of the hundred that I had in the Book of Spells by now.

Feeling satisfied with the outcome I closed the Book of Spells and turned my attention to the items that I got from Memo.

For the rest of the months that I have left in the Year suspension spell, I will start making the rest of the books of Harodin's story.

------------------------------------------------------------

Morning came and Ravir came to my room to tell me that I'm having breakfast with the others.

When I came to meet Amelia, she did not look at me with anger anymore.

Maybe because I'm not doing anything and stayed in my room the whole day yesterday that her worries subsided.

I just finished making the spells though so even if Amelia is against with my participation in the battle I'll still do it.

When I came to the realization that my name Remil Azrael will probably be buried in the world, I felt a little bad about it.

I thought that if I gain merit and be recorded in the history as one of the people who searched the Labyrinth then I won't have to worry even if the day comes that I will abandon my human self and become a witch.

After all once everyone in my family dies, I will no longer be Remil Azrael but the Witch Memoria.

I decided that today will be the day that I will show everyone what I can do in this place.

Amelia and Flourel happily talked with each other while eating their meal.

They talked with me as well but I barely answered them as my mind was occupied with things that I'll do today.

First I will probably talk with one of the commanders and show him my power.

I don't even know why they let me stay here when it's obviously the most dangerous place right now in the kingdom.

Father might have done something in the background to help me but even so, I'm still someone who's not trained enough to join the battle.

Though with my spells they might actually beg me to help them as well.

I have the confidence with that since I know that magicians are rare in the Kingdom that only a select few of them are born here.
