Chapter 17. Dusk

Ilt was late at night when Jenna started to stir. It first was a bit then she started screaming. "Jenna, listen to me, this is your first shift. It's going to hurt at first and you mqy even pass out. I know you may not understand but you are a werewolf." I said while holding onto her.

"Jackson!" I screamed. He came into the room. "We need to go to the forest and have her shift there before she knocks the whole building down." I mind linked everyone to meet us at the edge of the forest. Once Jackson, Brianna, Gregarious and Wolf arrived we headed deeper into the forest. Once there Jackson played Jenna down and there she screamed even louder.

She finally shifter and her wolf Dusk appeared. I shifted into Winter. "Dusk how is your human partner?" "Honestly she is screaming and freaking the fuck out." " Girl my human couldn't sit straight she just flopped our body when she was introduced to me.But right now let me talk to Jenna."

"Why am I inside a dog? Did you guys do something to me?" "Jenna sit." Winters alpha voice came down and Jenna just showed her neck instinctively. "You are not a dog you're a wolf the nobel creature on this earth. Frankly you carry the wolf gene and it got activated once you met Jackson your mate."

"Mate?" "Soul mate, your other half , yin and yang, all that bullshit that comes with having a spouse. Gregarious has Brianna , I and Rain have wolf, now Jackson has found you." Dusk comes back and has the urge to run.

Everyone felt her urge and shifted. We ran into the new territory that I marked. I checked on the pack, every one was introduce and the cubs have gotten bigger. I smelled danger and started growling. The cubs went into hiding in their den. Gregarious, Jackson and Wolf were first to flank right beside me. Brianna and Jenna we behind us. The regular wolves started growling as well.

Winter howled and stomped the ground hard. Snow started to emmerse itself from the sky and hid everyone including the cubs from danger. These weren't any regular wolves, these are lycans. Winter growled even more furiously and our eyes were the color of ice caves.

We can see through the thick of the snow storm. This was a lycan family. I can see a male, his mate and what seemed to be their cubs. Winter stomped the ground once to only revel them. The male was in a protected stance while the female guarded her cubs. I shifted into my human form.

"This is my territory, what buisness do you have here?" The male and female shifted. "We were exiled by the new leader of the lycans. He is extremely dangerous and psychotic we only ask for a safe place to stay, for ourselves and our young. If not us then just our cubs." The female started to cry while handing over her cubs. "They are beautiful." I kissed them and suddenly their scent disappeared.

The lycan pair and the pack were surprised that they couldn't smell the lycan cubs anymore. "What did you do to my babies, their scent seems disguised." "Honestly how the hell should I know, I just kissed and blessed them and boom, no more scent. I'm only guessing here aren't you like the royal lycan couple?"
