Unexpected Prize

I went to the library and opened the Prize collection function of my system. Last night was the date for the Prize collection but I didn't get the chance as I was listening to the 'Era of Gods' from my mother.

After getting so many junk prizes I was that much excited. But who would have thought my luck wasn't used up yet?

I paused when I read the name of the Prize. I didn't know about the Soul Land universe but I did know that anything related to Dragon was OP. And what I got was not just Dragon but Dragon God's Inheritance.

"Inheritance? Is it some kind of weapon or some otherworldly treasure?" I asked myself and selected the withdrawal, excitedly.

As soon as I did that I felt a powerful energy pass throughout my whole body. From outside nothing happened but I could feel my body was actually getting stronger.

I thought it would be painful as it was common in cultivation-type novels. I prepared myself for the incoming pain, but nothing happened. Instead it felt good and I felt free.

It lasted only a few minutes. Some new information appeared inside my head out of nowhere.

"King of Gods?" "And it's from another universe, not from this?"

Before I could open my Status to check the details, my mother showed up in the library.

She looked serious and flashed in front of me. Without saying anything she put her hand on my chest. With every passing second her emotions changed constantly.

Surprised, shocked, disbelieving, happy, proud and also worried. But one emotion remained all the time, confusion.

"What happened, mother?" I asked

She shook her head and asked "You tell me what is happening. Do you feel uncomfortable or any different?"

I shook my head and replied "No, instead I feel better than before. Why are you asking that?"

She looked confused and replied "You have a Draconic aura around you. And it's coming from within you as if you are turning into a Dragon."

She then looked weirdly and continued "But this aura is different from the aura I am familiar with. It's a type of aura I have never sensed before. But I am sure that it's a draconic aura."

I understood why she was confused. It should be because this was from another universe.

I smiled to not make her worried for me and said "Don't worry Mother. I am fine. And I felt a lot stronger than before."

She sighed and nodded her head. She added "Yeah, I can sense that. You can beat an emperor realm easily in brute strength."

I knew what she meant. I may be as strong as an emperor realm but I don't have the technique and experience of an emperor realm. I was just seven years old, and who just started cultivating.

She smiled and said, "Don't worry, with my training you can win even in a fight too."

I smiled and nodded my head. This time I was not going to waste this chance to learn combat techniques.
