3 The New Name

Martin lying swaddled in his mothers embrace had only smiled, seeing a happy family want to love him made him remember his own family and longing to save them.

"Miss Adriana, are you sure his my son, just look at that red hair and golden eyes, he looks nothing like anyone else in either of our families?" Said Jona, the muscular man with dark hair and eyes, fearing the boy he watched be born was not his.

"Jona! He is your son, a strange one but yours," Adriana said in an almost aggravated tone "he is strong and healthy, as your first born child in five years of marriage, both of you are lucky!" Smacking Jona across the back of the head and walking out of the delivery room of the village doctors office.

"Jona be nice to Nana Adriana, she is the only magi in our village and the only one who would help us, she has always been fair about her prices to help us." Rae said mad, yet laughing as the next part left her mouth, "or do I need to do I need to hit you too"

"No you don't Rae, otherwise we'd need to pay more for this visit, during the birth Nana had to cast HEALING twice so now we owe 5 silver." Jona said with a cracked smile and a little chuckle, "otherwise we'd have a kid and a brain dead husband."

Nana hearing this peeped up and said " you already are brain dead Jona!"

"Don't make me come in there you old hag, thank you for everything you've done for us though Nana, if there was anything else we could do besides pay we will." Jona said with love in his voice. "I love you Nana!"

"Just because I kept you after your parents died 22 years ago, doesn't mean you owe me anything, you've always been like my grandchild just like everyone in this village," Adriana said as she walked into the room again, " what are you doing to name the little wild one?"

"He should be named after his grandfather, Garish," Jona said getting smacked by his weakened but still strong wife.

"His name should be Rinn" Rae said after hitting the back of his head.

"I like Rinn!" Adriana said.
