CHAPTER 48

"Your magical power is indeed magnificent", Jose Porla said to the White Titan of Fairy Tail.

Right now, the Phantom Lord's walking guild had been totally destroyed and the fight has not yet ended. After multiple explosions caused by both pairs of dragon slayers and as well as Jose and Enzo's battle, the guild was totally in shambles.

At this moment, only one opponent lay standing. The mastermind of this war, the Wizard Saint, Jose Porla.

"It's the first time a mage had met my expectations in a battle", Jose said to Enzo. Jose right now had multiple wounds in his body, so did Enzo. Aside from Gildarts, Jose was the only one who was able to counter Enzo freezing magic. He used his shades creatures as a layer of protection in his skin, this prevented Enzo's magic from freezing any part of his body.

"Looks like your the only one left standing, Jose. Such a sad ending for a once a mighty guild", Enzo said as he mocks Jose.

With a smirk on his face, Jose replied, "I can always rebuild. Once I kill every one of you fairies, I will go and collect all the fortunes of the Heartfilia family and make an even grander guild. A guild that will remain on top, for as long as I live".

"Then it's time we stop warming up", Enzo said. The White Titan of Fairy Tail began to release a huge amount of magical energy in the surroundings that the temperature begins to drop. This was not the only thing that was happening though. A new type of energy that Jose couldn't recognize was slowly armoring Enzo's take-over form. The energy had the color of deep red. Jose didn't know it caused this technique didn't exist in this world, it was an ability that Enzo had just recently able to control. It was the manifestation of his conqueror's haki.

Seeing his opponent releasing all his magical energy, Jose realized that he also needed to do the same. He cancels the shades soldiers that he had summoned previously to fight the members of Fairy Tail. He wanted to be serious in this fight, and he can't take a chance of wasting his energy on two fronts. He also releases his magical energy into the surroundings. His energy was dark and nauseating, the white part of his eyes became pure black as his energy continues to increases.

"Let us cause a catastrophe then", Jose said.

"If that is necessary to beat your ass, so be it", Ethan replied.

Both opponents moved at an unthinkable speed that it seems like they disappeared. Not long after that, two figures could be seen right in front of one another as they delivered a powerful punch to their opponent. A powerful magical explosion soon happened when both punches connected in their opponent's face.

Meanwhile, the members of Fairy Tail began to watch in awe and fear as they look towards the broken guild of Phantom Lord. Even if they were quite a few distances away from the said guild, they could feel the raw magical energy that was colliding in the distance. The sky itself was also reacting to the raw magical energy that was in the surroundings. The sky became dark as lighting forms and continues to strike the area.

"So much magical energy", Macao said as he looks towards the Phantom Lord Guild.

"Damn...Enzo is Wizard Saint-level...damn", Cana said with shock in her voice as she recognizes Enzo's magical energy.

"All we can do now is wait. Who wins that fight, will signal the victor of the guild war", Mira said to the members of Fairy Tail. The group understood what Mira said and just continued to watch in anticipation. They hope that the White Titan of Fairy Tail will be able to slay the Phantom in front of him.

Suddenly from the battle in front of them, a magical beam was headed their way. It was probably an attack that was deflected or an attack that wasn't supposed to hit them but was misaimed by the user.

"Shit! TAKE COVER!!"

"DAMN IT RUN!!"

"F*CK!"

Erza wanted to block the attack but she was too far away to do it. She watches in despair as the stray magical beam would hit her friends. When suddenly a white light came in between the magical beam and the unfortunate members of Fairy Tail.

The white light then proceeded to destroy the stray magical attack.

The people look at who it was and the moment the light vanishes they could see the person responsible for saving them.

"MASTER!"

"GRAMPS!"

"MASTER!"

"Looks like I'm too late", Makarov said to everyone present. He looks at the horizon and he could see the magical energy surrounding in the air.

'To think that he could reach such a level in such a young age...truly impressive', Makarov thought as his eyesight never left the battle that was happening in front of him.

Meanwhile, the battle between Enzo and Jose has reached the climax. Both combatants were now incredibly focused, one wrong move could signal their defeat. There was no way in hell they wanted to lose because of being clumsy.

At the beginning of the fight, Jose had used multiple single target spells but the more the fight continued, the more he found it problematic to hit Enzo, the man could somehow dodge his attacks at the last moment. Right now he was using most of his magical reserves to used spells that had a wide area of effect. This had countered one of his problems but this had also caused him to have his magical reserved to be heavily depleted quickly.

Enzo was also having a similar problem as well. The longer the fight lasts, the greater the chance that his Conqueror's Haki will be depleted. Once that happens he will be incredibly weak to fight back. He wanted to end this fight soon or else he will surely lose.

"GRAND SHADE", Jose quickly summons multiple shade creatures to surround Enzo. "DESPAIR!". The shade creatures self-destructed themselves when Enzo was in the middle of them.

"BOOM! BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!"

"Know your place you little fairy!", Jose then summoned a gigantic magical seal in the sky right above where the explosion happened. "DARK PULSE!!" a bombardment of dark magical energy soon engulf the entire area.

"BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!". As his spell connected Jose felt the joy of victory in his grasp.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! NO WAY I WILL LOSE TO YOU!! I WILL BURY YOU IN THIS RUMBLE WHERE YOUR BODY WON'T EVER BE FOUND! I----", Jose said, but before he could finish his sentence something happened in front of him.

"GRAND RUSH!!!", Enzo was able to tank the bombardment and he used geppou and soru to escape it. Every time Enzo jumps in the air, the air itself became frozen. With wounds in his body, he realized that this was the only chance he can get to get close to Jose. Jose was still shocked at what was happening in front of him that he could barely make a magical seal to block the fist that was coming his way.

"EIGHT LAYER: GRAND IMPACT!", with a punch powered by Conqueror's Haki and Hasshoken style, Jose's magical seal was destroyed with ease.

"NO!!", Jose said as a powerful punch landed in his stomach. Jose was then propelled out of the building all the way to the port where before he landed, his stomach was already frozen solid.

"BANG!"

"Damn...it", Jose said as he looks at his stomach. Throughout the fight, he had prevented a clean hit from reaching him. This was the first time that Enzo broke into the layer of shade magic he used to defend against him.

"F*ck...", Enzo said. Right now, his last attack had totally drained his Conqueror's Haki and he has become powerless to continue the fight.

Meanwhile; Jose was able to stand up but with shaky legs, "I'll kill you...agh...", Jose said as blood was suddenly released out of his mouth.

"I don't think so"

Jose was shocked when he heard that voice. With blood dripping from his mouth he turned around and he saw Makarov and nearly all the Fairy Tail mages that could still fight.

"It's over, Jose. The distinctions between the guilds have been made clear. Should you desire more, I'll annihilate you completely, without leaving a trace", Makarov said as he releases his magical energy to intimidate a badly wounded Jose.
