CHAPTER 46

"Look, Mira's plan is working", Cana said as she notices the slow progression of the Abyss Break Seal.

"We can win this", Macao said as he defeated the last guild member of Phantom Lord. Right now all the Fairy Tail members were looking directly at the walking Phantom Guild. Each and every single one of them was waiting for the members who infiltrated the said guild. When suddenly in the corner of the gigantic walking guild an explosion happened.

"BANG!!!

The explosion was accompanied by two magical energy clashing against each other.

"What was that?", Loke said as he focused his attention on the area that exploded. It wasn't just Loke, all of them were intently looking at it. Suddenly multiple ethereal creatures came out of this explosion and are going towards them. These creatures have their faces hidden by hooded capes, with their blank eyes glowing under the hoods, don long robes, and are armed with large sabers.

Before Macao could react, one of these creatures attacks him with its weapon causing him to bleed.

"AH!!", Macao said as a sword wound could be seen in his chest.

"What the!"

"Focus everyone, we're not done yet!", Cana shouted.

Mira looks at her surroundings and said, "This is 'Shade Magic'. Master Jose is the one who cast this spell, we need back up. There's too many of them".

"Triple Unison Explosion"

"Bullet Storm"

"Guns Magic: Tornado Shot"

"Twister"

"Wood-Make: The Dam of Shy Love"

"Smoke Crush"

Most of Fairy Tail members were already tired due to them fighting Phantom Lord's guild members previously. Only a few of them were still able to power through and continue fighting.

Now, with Shade summons that was in front of them, there was a chance that some of them would get hurt.

"If some of them are already finished defeating the members of the element four, call them back here, now! We need back up!", Mira order Warren. Warren nodded and immediately used his 'Telepathy Magic;".

Amidst the battle of mages and ethereal creatures, Warren was able to contact, Elfman, Kagura, and Gray. The three of them each defeated one member of 'The Element Four'. Among these 3, Gray was the last one to defeat a member of 'The Element Four'. "They're on their way", Warren responded.

MEANWHILE:

Jose with a wide sadistic grin on his face gathered magical energy in his right hand and fired it at the person in front of him.

"DEAD WAVE!"

Enzo seeing the attack immediately used his observation haki to dodge it before it hit him. He counters with his own spell;

"Ice Projectile Barrages!"

Before the projectiles could hit him, Jose cast a spell that made multiple Shade tentacles and he used to block and deflect Enzo's attack. Every time the projectiles hit the tentacles they would be turned into ice but Jose just compensated by making more 'Shade Tentacles'.

The previous explosion was due to Jose and Enzo having their initial clash. Jose was by far the strongest opponent Enzo has ever fought in this new world. Enzo could feel the raw magical power that Jose is releasing. During the short clash, he realized that Jose is more of a long-range type mage. This could be a problem for Enzo, but when has he ever say no to a challenge.

"You need to defeat me quickly or your teammates would die by my magic", Jose said with a smirk on his face. To make the fight more interesting Jose had summoned his shades to attack the guild members of Fairy Tail.

"Don't worry Jose. I'll beat you and I'll make sure to freeze one of your limbs as a trophy. Imagine having a frozen arm of a 'Wizard Saint' as decoration in a house", Enzo said with a smile on his face. The two opponents then continued to engage against each other, this had caused multiple explosions to happen on occasion.

MEANWHILE:

"So, you were the one that wounded Master Makarov", Erza said to the man in front of her with anger in her voice.

"Oh yes, defeating Master Makarov was fun. Anyway let me formally introduce myself, I am the Leader of the Element Four. I am Aria of the wind", Aria said. Aria then took the blindfold the was covering his eyes and said, "I would have preferred to fight 'The White Titan of Fairy Tail' but it would seem that Master Jose called dibs on that. So, you would have to do Erza Scarlet".

The moment Aria's eyes were visible, Erza could feel the raw magical energy that Aria was releasing into the surroundings.

Aria stretches out his hand and multiple magical seals began to take shape, "ZETSU!"

Erza seeing the attack coming her way immediately requips to her 'Heaven's Wheel Armor'. With sword in hand, Erza did something that made Aria shock. Erza was able to cut his 'Airspace Magic', something Aria thought to be impossible.

"HOW?!", Aria asked in disbelief.

After cutting Aria's spell, Erza looks directly at Aria with an angry look in her eyes and she pointed her sword at him. "How dare you touch the old man. I will make you pay for that".

Aria's shock immediately became anger when Erza threatened him. He then decided to used the most powerful spell in his arsenal. Aria's eyes began to shine as he began to generate spiraling airspace around him. Soon the entire area was engulfed in a smoky whirlwind. A magical seal began to appear in front of him and he cast his spell towards Erza.

"Take this Erza. The airspace that consumes all life. AIR SPACE ZERO!!!!"

Erza was immediately hit by a powerful burst of wind magic. She could feel every inch of her body screaming in pain. But she could not be deterred. The man in front of her was the person responsible for placing Master Makarov in a critical condition. She gathered her magic and charges towards Aria, and she attacks with everything she got, "TENRIN BLUMENBLATT!".

With one single sword slash, Erza cuts through the strongest airspace spell in Aria's arsenal.

"AH!", Aria shouted in pain. Disbelief could be clearly seen on his face. He would have never thought that his most powerful magic could be defeated with just one sword slash. Aria then fell to the ground and lost consciousness.

Seeing her opponent down, Erza returned to her regular armor. She then went to the nearest window and saw the Abyss Break seal cracking and eventually destroying itself.
