CHAPTER 14

Standing on the deck of the warship is a man with black hair and having olive skin. His eyes were bright blue in color, and if you ever happen to be in front of him when he is hunting, those become darker. There were some rumors that he could freeze people by just looking at them, a bunch of made of stories by fanatics perhaps? He has a prominent jaw curved gracefully around and the strength of his neck showed in the twining cords of muscle that shaped his entire body; strong arms, bold thighs and calves, a firm chest, and abdomen. He wore a black sleeveless shirt with silver accents which outlined his muscles, he also wore black pants and black combat boots. He was what you would describe a handsome man, with a mystifying air around him, this is Enzo Lockhart. A man feared and respected by his reputation.

"How long do we have to travel?, Enzo asked. You can't tell it from the tone of his voice but the man was clearly getting impatient. Revenge may do that to people, especially when you are so close to delivering it.

"We need 5-12 hours perhaps. I don't see any reason why it would take us any longer", Rear Admiral Akehende said as he looks up to see the clear sky, great weather to travel he thought.

Enzo just nodded in response.

"Do you know that the Steel fist pirates went to the New World, 3 months ago?", Akehende asked.

"They did?"

"Yep, they were only there for at least 2 months. They started doing what they do best, pillaging, murdering, and raping. Eventually, they faced someone they could not handle. Our information states that they attacked Don Chinjao's fleet. They thought that the New World was the same as the Grandline, such a bunch of fools. HAHAHAHAHA", Akehende said as he began laughing.

Enzo was not amused with that information and he immediately asked, "How many survived?"

Akehende composes himself and he said, "Our information states that the captain survived with at least a 3rd of their original numbers".

With slight anger that was shown in his eyes, Enzo said, "That will have to do". He then proceeded to go to the deck of the ship and began to meditate.

"Forgive me for asking, sir. But why did you take him with us? Since the Steel Fist pirates suffered heavy losses, then with you here sir, we can easily take them down. No need to have a bounty hunter among our ranks", a marine captain in the ship asks.

"hmmm.....True, but The HQ wants me to personally check his combat ability. They believe that perhaps he doesn't like the Rear Admiral rank. They want me to assess him and see if he wants to become a Shichibukai instead" Akehende said.

"Why didn't you just ask him that directly though?", the marine captain asked.

"The HQ wants a Shichibukai that isn't a pirate, to begin with. Due to his soloist nature, Enzo might decline the opportunity, instead of outright asking him, I'm showing him. With him having the Shichibukai title the marines will have a strong ally that we can rely on. The Marine Headquarters are willing to give him all the information he wants every time he hunts a pirate down", Akehende said.

"The title of Shichibukai...With him having one then it will be very beneficial indeed", the marine captain stated.

Akehende nodded and he soon commanded the ship to travel as fast at it can towards their destination.

The ship traveled in favorable winds that they soon arrived at the location they wanted, an island that was the last stop before you enter Sabaody Archipelago.

Enzo immediately stood up when he saw the outline of the island that they were traveling to. The excitement in his eyes could not be contained, he clenched his fist as he tried to calm himself down. Soon revenge would be his, soon he will finally kill the entire pirate crew that attacked his town all those years ago.

"That's the island that the Steel fist pirates are currently recuperating from their loses in the New World", Akehende stated.

Soon the Marine ship became visible in the view of the pirates assigned to guard the ship that was docked in the port. Their ship showed visible signs of damage. The mast was destroyed and it was clear that the crew of the ship was in the middle of fixing it before they spotted the incoming marine warship. Most of the ship had patchwork done to it so that it could still travel. This alone is a visible sign that the fight they had in the New World was intense, in fact by the state of their ship it could be classified as a miracle that they even survive what they went through.

The pirates seeing that they could not run quickly enough decided to fire the cannonballs they had left.

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

"BOOM!"

Enzo who was standing on the deck of the ship saw the incoming cannonball that was perfectly aimed at the deck of the marine ship. He made a gun gesture and fired a blue like projectile from the tip of his index finger. The projectile collided with the cannonballs. Instead of the cannonballs being destroyed it transformed into a blue like sculpture, even before it came in contact with the marine ship, it cracked and soon destroyed itself. The destroyed cannonball was like a beautiful hail as it spread all over the ship.

"Damn, that'sc a really a cool devil fruit ability", Akehende said as watch the beautiful blue like hail fall on him.

Seeing more incoming cannonballs that were aimed at his ship Akehende wanted to order his crew to fire back at the pirate ship when suddenly he saw Enzo fired the same projectile at the pirate ship.

AH!!

AHH!!

The moment the projectile hit the pirate ship, it became an ice sculpture. Not only was the ship transformed into an ice sculpture but also every single pirate inside of it, they became quite a beautiful work of art.
