Chapter 12, Beautiful!

Sora was done getting ready for the date. It was around 8:40 AM as he left his house. Sora knew he was going too early, but he wanted to make sure he was the one who reached the predetermined place first.

Unsurprisingly, his uncle didn't even bother to ask where he was going, 'He never gave a shit,' Sora thought with an awkward chuckle, but he quickly put that thought aside and started thinking about Ayame.

He was still feeling guilty about rejecting her video call while hoping to make it up to her on this date.

Sora had finally reached the place, looking at his clock, it seemed like he was almost 1 hour early, the place they had decided to meet was the neighbourhood park.

After 20 minutes of waiting, anticipation was buzzing through Sora, he stole frequent glances at his watch. Children were running around making the park livelier. Then suddenly, someone came behind the bench Sora was sitting on and covered his eyes,

"Guess who~?" though he was caught off guard but from the familiar voice and sweet lavender scent, Sora instantly realized it was none other than Ayame!

"Ayame?" Sora answered with a soft chuckle seeing her playful nature. 

"Mhm!"

"That caught me off guard, but aren't you a bit early? I mean, I said 10 AM, currently it's 9:28," 

"You know, I should be saying that! You were here even before me, I knew you would come early but this early? Good thing I came before 10,"

"Ah… Well… I wanted to be the one to greet you here," he stated gently

Ayame's face quickly flustered, "Hmph! Not fair!" She said while pouting,

Sora smiled seeing her cuteness, "Well, let's go," Ayame's lips quickly formed a smile, and nodded.

"So~ Where are we going?" She curiously inquired

"You'll see."

"A surprise, ey?"

Sora getting jumped by Ayame, failed to notice her getup. But when he did, he was awestruck, 

Ayame was wearing a sundress with a flowy skirt, the color matching her body wash scent, light lavender. She had black earrings on, creating a beautiful contrast with her hair. In simple terms, 'She looks like a fucking goddess,' Sora's heart raced while looking at her.

"Ayame…." He stammered, his heart hammered against his chest, "You look absolutely beautiful."

"T-thanks," Ayame couldn't help but get flustered, she dressed up this well just for him! She couldn't be more happy, "You look handsome as well," her voice barely audible.

Sora's cheeks burned, "O-oh, t-thanks," Sora was even more taken aback, Ayame's flustered face made her even more enticing.

After cooling off for some time, both of them finally started moving, Sora taking the lead by holding her hand, 'Even holding her hand is almost making me faint, fuck knows what happened to me during the confession that I was able to kiss her, like what??' Sora was questioning his sanity.
