I wake up and Beau is not next to me. I already know where he would be. There is no worry or wonder in my mind. Things have been so calm lately that I haven't had an anxiety attack in a while.
My life is perfect.
I don't mean to brag but I am in a place of contentment. I am so happy that most times, I have to check myself to make sure that this is real.
Having a husband, two kids. Having the rest of my family here in this compound. It is the perfect situation. One that I don't ever want to let go of. The sun is blaring through the window. The morning birds are chirping loudly like they do in the morning.
Today is a special day.
The day that I almost died but ended up with two gifts.
The day that I fought so hard.
The day that I won at life.
