Julius was so curious to know why Meredith went to the temple.

- If her daughter was too young to receive the powers, then why did Meredith come here in the first place?

- As I said before, she came to ask us for help. She wanted so badly to be with you and for that to happen, she must get rid of the powers of her body.

- She came here to get rid of her powers, for me?

- Yes, it was all because of you. We tried so much to convince her otherwise. Her life will become in danger because she will be an easy target for the Eaters, but she was determined to do it. She even refused to wait until her daughter became the right age to receive the powers, saying that she prefer to put herself at risk than living another day away from you. Love really blinded her and made her act recklessly. 

Julius couldn't hold himself from crying. Meredith loved him to the point that she was ready to give up on her powers to be with him.
