Gratya and Katya were waiting at the terminal at the airport because they had important guests coming to East Dasmein. They looked in the distance and saw Sierra and Elenoir with the others coming down from the escalator. They both came to visit because they heard about the news that a portal had become a vortex.
There was another reason why Sierra suddenly wanted to go to East Dasmein. The reason was that after the hunting training, all the Guilds would come to the Pave Academy to offer the outstanding students to join their guild after they graduated. It was like keeping them on tabs, and whoever got their hands on the students first, it would be guaranteed that they would join them later on.
Knowing Alseace was the center of attention, Sierra already had a hunch that big guilds would bother him. Big guilds had their own privileges that made them immune to a certain law, and that was to observe and breach someone else's privacy or private affair. They were quite extreme when they had their hands on someone they were interested in.
"Where should we go first, Miss Red? The Academy or Emissary headquarters?" Gratya asked as she walked next to Sierra and took the suitcase in Sierra's hand.
"Let's head straight to headquarters. There's something that I want all the big guilds to understand of the current situation that you guys are in right now," Sierra answered with a lollipop in her mouth. "Wait, if the Guildmasters are going to attend the Academy?" Sierra stopped and looked at Gratya.
"Unlikely because they usually just send a representative to poach the students," Gratya shook her head.
"Good, then summon all the Guildmasters and their Vices to Emissary headquarters," Sierra said as she left the airport and looked at the 4 black SUVs parked in front of her. "Also, bring Alseace to headquarters with you, Elen. I don't want him to be surrounded by a bunch of flies," Sierra looked at Elenoir as she entered the SUV.
Elenoir nodded with understanding and entered a different car since she had to pick Alseace up at the Academy.
Alseace was in his room looking at articles on the internet about a portal that had been turned into a vortex. His name was in the article with Edgar's and the others' names as well. He wondered how the news spread so easily and how they found out about the students who cleared it even though the Emissary tried to cover it.
"Did someone leak the information from the Emissary? Thankfully they have no pictures of me," Alseace said.
His phone vibrated and he saw Elenoir was messaging him with a preview of the message on top of his screen. He opened the message and was a bit surprised when Elenoir was on her way to the Academy to pick him up. He then immediately changed his attire and went to the Academy entrance.
Once he left the dorm and went to the entrance, he was surprised to see a lot of students and people there. He looked around and wondered what was going on until he saw some people in a suit talking with students and offered them to join their guilds. It looked like salesmen were trying to force someone to buy their products.
Since Alseace wasn't wearing his uniform, nobody batted an eye at him and ignored his existence. He walked past them and was glad that they didn't know who he was because the article didn't have his picture.
When he was on his way to the entrance gate, he saw a black SUV car parked right in front of the gate. The driver was wearing a black suit and sunglasses. He opened the door in front of him, and Elenoir came out of the car in her favorite white long coat that she put over her shoulders. Her presence alone was enough to attract everyone's attention, and they were surprised to see the strongest Awakener in Dasmein come to the Academy.
Elenoir's eyes met Alseace's, and she immediately tilted her head toward the car behind her. She was glad that she didn't have to enter the Academy because she would be bombarded with questions.
Alseace walked past the gate and Elenoir suddenly wrapped her arm around his neck. She escorted him into the car and felt gazes pointing at her, but she ignored it.
Luke, Edgar, and Cleo were there and saw it with their own two eyes that Alseace entered the same car as Elenoir. They were surprised and curious as to what his relationship with Elenoir was, and if he was already taken by the Entities Guild. Cleo then realized something was off about it, but she didn't do anything and kept staring at the driver.
"Why are you here, Miss Elenoir?" Alseace asked.
"Sierra ordered me to. She wants me to pick you up because we are going to Emissary headquarters. She has something to say about the current situation and the incident that happened here," Elenoir answered as she fixed her coat on her shoulders. "Also, your information got leaked, and Sierra didn't want flies around you," Elenoir continued after she fixed her coat.
"I see, I was thinking the same thing," Alseace replied as he looked at the city.
As soon as they arrived at the Emissary headquarters, they saw so many cars parked in front of the round building. Each of the cars had its own emblem on the license plate, which represented who they belonged to.
"Let's head in," Elenoir said after she glanced at the cars and walked up the stairs into the building.
Alseace walked in with Elenoir and they were immediately escorted by 2 agents who guided them to the auditorium. Alseace saw a few men and women that weren't Agents of Emissary, and they all stole a glance at Elenoir since it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see her from up close.
"Those people are from big guilds, don't mind them," Elenoir said as she waited in front of the elevator.
They both entered the elevator and those people were still staring at her as if she was a magical creature.
They entered the auditorium, and each seat had been designated to the Guildmasters of each big guild. Nero and the others were on the left side of the room, while the Guildmasters from West Dasmein were on the right side of the room. In the middle were the higher-ups and the president of the Emissary. The atmosphere was so heavy that the silence made it even worse.
Lucretia glanced at Elenoir and looked at Alseace with a suspicious look. She then whispered something to Sebastian. She wanted to know who he was and why he came with Elenoir since she knew who was the Vice of the Entities Guild.
Alseace glanced at each of the Guildmasters of the big guilds, and he tried to remember their names. But before he could remember, Gratya walked on stage with Sierra. He wondered if Sierra was well known by people from East Dasmein.
Gratya walked to the podium and adjusted the microphone, then said, "Thank you for coming even though it was short notice." "Since everyone is busy, we'll make it short and straight to the point. With that being said, Miss Red," Gratya looked at Sierra from over her shoulder and nodded her head.
Sierra walked to the podium and looked at each one of them for a moment, and then said, "The reason why I'm here is because of the recent incident where a portal became a vortex. It may look like it's weird, but the truth is, it's possible and common in the world where I came from." "But the thing is if this has occurred that means your world is in danger and no longer safe," Sierra pointed out and looked at them with a serious expression.
"What do you mean by that, Miss Red?" Niko Valteri asked through the microphone from where he sat.
"This is what I meant," Sierra lifted her hand and showed the Demon Fragment to everyone. "As you know, this is a Demon Fragment, and the Emissary currently possesses 10 of this, and that's excluded from what you, the Guildmasters of East Dasmein possess," Sierra continued as she gave the fragment back to Gratya.
All the Guildmasters started to whisper about their vices since each one of them had at least 1 or 2 Demon Fragments. They wondered what it had to do with what happened with the incident.
"What's the relation between the Demon Fragment and the incident, Miss Sierra?" A bright brown-haired man with blue eyes in a white suit asked. He was Ackerly Erglade, the Guildmaster of the Specter Guild.
"Dasmein was attacked by monsters before, correct? And now, with this appearing inside a portal, that means the Demons are now trying to attack Dasmein," Sierra answered.
"Attacked by Demons? Aren't we already dealing with Demons inside vortexes? What makes you think it has anything to do with Demons attacking us? In the first place, if we failed to clear a vortex when we are dealing with Demons, they're going to attack our world anyway," A woman with dark brown hair and eyes replied. She wore a tight shirt underneath the suit over her shoulders and showed off her big cleavage. She was Louvenia Bissonnette, Guildmaster of the Goldenclaw Guild. She had a bit of hatred toward Katya since they both used to be in the same guild.
"That's true, but inside the vortex, the Demons are attacking the world that you go to, not your world," Sierra answered as she shook her head. "Now that a portal in this world was turned into a vortex, that only means one thing. The Demons have found your world's frequency and have planned to attack through portals," Sierra pointed out.
"Frequency? What's that mean?" Lucretia asked.
"Remember half a year ago when a dungeon has a double dungeon in West Dasmein? We called it colliding, and that means two worlds are combined into one. The theory is that all the existing worlds are placed in the same place but at a different dimension or frequency that's why a Dimensional Crack happens. Now, imagine you have an old radio, if you want to hear a specific radio station you would tune the radio, correct? With that being said, the Demons have found your world frequency," Sierra explained as she looked at Lucretia.
"Now, since the Demons have found it, they will try to attack your world either through portals, or Dimensional Crack. This safe haven world of yours, right now will come to an end, and that's why I summoned you all here," Sierra said with a serious expression.
Lucretia chuckled and everyone glanced at her with confused looks. She then said, "Who would believe your theory? Dasmein will be attacked? That's quite rubbish."
"Oh, I'm not asking you to believe me," Sierra said with a blank expression. "I'm just giving you a warning, and if it's going to happen, don't regret it and ask me for help because I know for sure, people like you will die," Sierra continued and stared at Lucretia with her left eyebrow raised.
