India?

Aaron shook his head in denial. "Maybe we are overthinking she wouldn't do such a thing."

"Why? You always said women are snakes."

"Yeah, but is she anything close to a woman?" Aaron questioned.

"I heard that," Lara pouted from the other door of the mosque. She walked in while holding a bag containing food and clothes; she was even dressed in a t-shirt and simple shirts.

"Where did you go?" Tyler asked, and she threw the clothes at him. "I thought we had a moment earlier, and now you think I will betray you."

"Hey…"

"I took the watch to go back to Lincoln and give it to him in exchange for Aaron; I thought they had held him captive."

"You went there?" Aaron felt like his heart was hanging. Then she showed them the watch, and he sighed in relief and snatched it from her before putting it on. "I couldn't remember the way there, so I just bought food, but do you know who I saw?"

"Who?"

"Lincoln, he didn't see me, but I must alert you guys that they are searching for us; I even saw them showing our photos to others," Lara explained.

She was so scared that she returned to the mosque. Aaron nodded because it was something he already knew about.

"Lincoln mentioned something; he said the organization is everywhere, probably even in Boston." Aaron went into thinking mode.

"So going to Boston will be stupid of us, and they might have their men blocking all entrances, but do you know one entrance they won't pay attention to?"

"To India? Because they know we won't blend in."

Aaron frowned at Lara's stupid answer. "To Reno," he said, and Tyler chuckled.

"You must be joking; you want us to go back to where this all began?"

"We won't be so stupid to go there, and the organization knows we ain't stupid. So will they bother tightening their search for us in the very town they know we won't show up?"

Lara stared at him in amusement. "If you had given me just a little time to think, then I would have come up with that idea."

"Haha!" Tyler laughed sarcastically.

"Thanks for the clothes," Aaron said to Lara as he picked up the bag and left to change. She stared at his disappearing figure, wondering how someone could be that smart.

"Don't fall in love with him; it will break you," Tyler whispered, and she snorted.

"There are plenty—I mean plenty—of fine boys out there. So why will I fall in love with him just because he is handsome, smart, a science guy, a handy guy...?" She suddenly realized she had been fantasizing about him, so she cleared her throat.

"Once we get to Reno, then I will get myself a boyfriend in less than a month."

"I doubt you will charm one even after five years," Tyler said mockingly, and Lara took this as a challenge.

"I accept the deal."

"What deal?" Aaron walked back to them.

"Great, you will be our witness. If I get myself a boyfriend in less than a month, then Tyler has to teach me technology."

"Is having a boyfriend a brag now?" Aaron scoffed, but Tyler seemed interested in the deal.

"Not just any type of boyfriend; he needs to be handsome, cool, and not a nerd. And if you lose, then you will cook for the team every day for three months."

"Deal!!!" Lara snorted.

"If you guys are done, then stop the noise," Aaron scoffed as he found a place to sleep.

"You are sleeping?" Lara was shocked; she thought they would get into planning their escape plan.

"It's late; get some rest," Aaron replied with his eyes closed. Tyler was also very tired from their experience with the organization, so he also found a place to sleep.

The only worried one was Lara. "What if they find us while we are sleeping?"

"Sleep Lara"

The next morning, around 2 a.m., when places were still dark, they had already woken up because they felt much better and had eaten the meal from the day before, then they made their plans.

"Yesterday there was a Catholic festival, and today all the Christians will return to their destinations," Aaron explained.

"What has that got to do with us?"

"It…" Tyler was about to speak when Aaron saw someone's shadow pass by the door. He quickly closed Tyler's mouth with his hand and signaled for Lara to stay quiet.

"Let's get out of here," he mouthed, picking up his oxygen tank, and Lara stood up while shivering.

"I swear, sir, I saw a kid with an oxygen box walk through this direction last night."

"They found us," Tyler muttered, and Aaron pointed at the other door, and they hurried there. "Where will we run to? The ship for Los Angeles won't leave until 8 a.m.," explained Tyler.

"The goal is to escape from here,"

"So what's the plan?" Lara was beginning to trust Aaron's plans; she believed that if he had a plan, then they would be safe.

But that was not the case now. "I have no plan," he said, and he was stuck as well.

"You are joking, right?" she questioned in disbelief.

"On the count of three, you run and follow me no matter what. Don't stop and don't scream while running," he said, emphasizing the scream. Lara felt guilty; as a lady, she normally screams while running from danger.

"Okay, you lead us then."

"One,..." They didn't even get to count to three as the main door of the mosque pushed open. Aaron ran immediately, and Tyler followed.

"It's not yet three." Lara pouted, but noticing that the bad men were already inside the mosque and they were just a wall away, she closed her lips tightly and ran after Tyler and Aaron.

The streets were dark, and no one could be found there since they were all probably asleep. Aaron kept running while looking for his friends, who ran behind him.

He checked his wrist, and the watch was there, and he also held his money tightly. This made him wonder when the running would ever stop.

-

"Their clothes—they were indeed here," one of Martin's men said.

"There is another exit door there." They discovered the second door. "I am not sure they have gone that far; go after them."

Those men ran out of the mosque and separated into teams as they went on a hunt for the kids.

Aaron kept running nonstop; he had run for a long time and could tell they had escaped those men, but staying on the street would be risky for them; they needed to be somewhere safe.

Then he stopped, and Tyler caught up to him as they both tried to catch their breath. "Where is Lara?"

"I am here." Lara finally caught up to them, and Aaron pushed the oxygen box to Tyler and said, "Your turn."

"We need to put this money in our account instead of running with it," he said while trying to catch his breath.

"Are we going to stand here? What if those men catch up with us?" Lara was so scared and worried. Aaron noticed that the street was very familiar, like he had been there.

Then his eyes lit up, and he said, "Come." He went down another road, and they followed him. It wasn't long before they arrived in Julian's warehouse or lab.

"Which place is this?" Lara looked around the quiet warehouse.

Aaron could only hope that it was opened. He walked to the door and tried opening it, but it was closed. "Fuck," he cursed angrily, and then the door slowly opened as Julian peeked outside.

She was shocked to find Aaron and his friends. "What are you doing here at this hour?"

"Let's get in first."
