Chapter - 93 [ Painful Loyalty! ]

"Raise..."

To his order, the new Second Guardian, Beta raised herself from her kneeled position and smiled at him. He remembering something asked,

"Now that I think about it, is it okay for you to be my servant when your previous master is still alive..?"

"Previous Master..? Ah! You are talking about the creator huh... He wasn't actually our master. He only created us and ordered us to protect this world. He is only our creator. So, there is no problem at all. In fact...."

As she was about to say something, she stopped midway which confused him, so he asked,

"What..?"

"Its nothing, Master. Let's just say, its not the right time."

Not wanting to force her, Adam nodded and looked towards where the two girls were unconscious.

"So what will you do..? Are you going to save the other guardians..?"

She said with a uninterested face, "I am fine with either way, Master. I am not going to do it myself. If you are going, then I will go as well. Also, if you save them, they will be a great help to us in the fight against the heretic."

After nodding he flew towards the trio of Chimera and the two girls while saying, "Let's go then."

He slowly landed next to the fainted girls and picked them up using telekinesis and asked Beta,

"Is your servant going to come as well..? It would be impossible with her current appearance."

Although the Chimera was feeling confused as to why this human is asking such question to it's master, its thought process stopped when Beta suddenly said,

"He's now my master. That means he is your master as well. Ah, also call me Beta from now on."

The Chimera looked at its master and Adam in shock.

"I will be going with my master. So, what do you want to do..?"

Hearing its master's words, the Chimera responded while looking at Adam, "If possible, I would like to serve you, Master."

He nodded and said,"Can you transform into a human appearance...? If so do it. Then you can follow us." He wasn't polite with it, as the Chimera was like a servitude maniac from his guess. She seemed to be insistent on the job of serving her master after all.

Nodding with its maw, the Chimera transformed right before them with a flash. From the transformation, the gender was woman apparently. He wondered if there's a reason for why everyone he encounters seem to be females.

She had hair with mix of brown and yellow. Her eyes were glistening gold. She didn't had ears like that of a lion, but that of human. But there was a pair of bat like wings behind her. Tail was absent as well. All in all, she was a beauty.

He asked in a little curious tone, "Were the both of you females from the beginning..?"

Giggling lightly, Beta responded, "No master. We actually do not have something like gender. We chose to be females so that, we can serve you well."

In response to her words, the transformed, Naked Chimera girl nodded with a smile. He could only laugh awkwardly.

"Master, I too would like to form a contract with you if possible. Also a name as well."

The Chimera girl requested while still standing butt naked. She seemed to concious of his presence, but isn't denying his the right to see her whole body. Feeling a little ashamed of her unaffected interaction, Adam nodded after looking away.

Seeing him looking away, the Chimera girl seems to be hurt. But denying her doubt, he said, "Don't misunderstand! I am not saying you are not to my liking. Its just that, I am little embarassed and feels awkward while you are still naked. So wear this."

Saying this, he threw his spare shirt and pants. Catching them carefully, she finally worn it after a few moments. After returning his attention to her, he said,

"Your determination and desire for servitude has touched my heart. Thus, I, your Master give you the name, Isabella, which means 'you are a devoted servant'. Serve me well."

He said these cheesie lines to act alongside her bundle of loyalty. Even though today was her first time seeing him, she could tell, he was her perfect master. Hearing his words, as if filled with endless happiness, Isabella kneeled on the ground and exclaimed,

"I, this lowly me thank my Master for giving me this opportunity! I shall receive the name and live upto your expectations!"

'Master...no. Lady Beta rejected me almost every time I tried to serve her. But this man, my new master accepted me without even thinking about my ugliness and even race! My master, I swear, from now on, I will obey everything you say, even if it is to die for your sake! Also, what a magnificent name this worthless me received! I shall live upto your expectations, my master!'

As Isabella was swearing her loyalty to Adam, he said, "Since the name Isabella is a little long, how about I call you Bella..?"

"As you wish, my master!" She wasn't even listening. She just accepted whatever he was saying.

After this, he transformed back to his original appearance, and Adam nodded in satisfaction and looked at them while saying,

"Let's leave. I think what happened here was a bit flashy. If we stay here any longer, it would attract attention."

Saying so, he pulled the two unconscious girls to his side...at least that was how it was supposed to. But denying him, Bella suddenly carried the two on her shoulders without any visible exhausted look.

"I, as your servant shall do such measly tasks, my master."

Feeling a lot of headache coming from the future , Adam looked at Beta, which she answered by shrugging her shoulders, "I don't know about that child. From the moment I saw her, she was always thinking about serving me. I rejected her of course. But now that she got a new master... Its unfortunate. But you will have to just accept her being a maniac in serving you. There is nothing I can do here...."

Sighing he nodded and left together with them.

Although he was planning to leave by cart and enjoy their journey, so much happened that he chose to fly to the empire. Currently him, the unconscious Adriel and Ruby, and Beta was riding on the back of now transformed Bella.

This happened after a few moments of their departure.

As they were flying, Bella asked her master, "Master, I strongly request you to use me."

Though her words might have invited misunderstandings in any other situations, Adam knew what she was talking about. So he denied her. He didn't want to ride on the back of a girl after all. But he was forced to take back his denial and order her when she asked with teary eyes,

"Am I useless to master..? If so, I should just die!" After saying this, she tried to use her hands to cut her own neck as its nothing. Fortunately, stopping her before she would something so dangerous, Adam ordered her to be his mount.

So this situation arose.

"Isn't her loyalty to me a bit too extreme..?"

"Fufufu...you should try to accept her from now on. I am afraid she would pull the same stunt the next time you reject her too."

Feeling tired after hearing Beta's words, Adam fell with his back to Bella's wide back. Feeling him, she made a strange sound, but he and Beta who was the only ones who were awake ignored it.

'Hmm... The state of a Demi-God is awesome... I feel like I am connected to this entire world...? And I feel like I can do probably anything with my current abilities.'

« I agree. If my guess is right, you can use your abilities on others efficiently now. For example, try to hide your all presence using invisibility »

Hearing her words, Adam tried using it. But it seems, even Beta didn't noticed it. They just disappeared from the vision from an outside perspective.

'Hmm.. so my range and quality of using skills improved huh... Also, why does my divinity also shows null..? Could it be... I can use all of them..?'

« Even if that's true, you do not have enough experience and knowledge to use them. For now, train and reach your current limit »

He too understood this. So he uttered a 'Mm' mentally to Maya.

"Hmn..?"

Hearing the confused voice, Adam turned towards the owner of the voice and saw Adriel who was sleepy looking around and yawning. Seeing Ruby next to her, she immediately shook her to wake her up. Following her, Ruby awakened with a sleep look as well. Then sensing his presence, the duo smiled before saying,

"Good morning, Addy. I saw a dream where I met two new kind of monsters which you named Chimera. Adriel was with me as well. It was really terrifying. I am glad such monsters aren't real!"

Adriel nodded her head heavily and said,"I too saw the same dream. It felt real, you know..?"

Feeling apologetic, Adam said,"Y-You girls weren't seeing any dreams. It was real. We went inside the tomb of Claxcez. And at the deepest floor, we saw a castle and encountered two of them."

Hearing him, the duo smiled and playfully said, "Addy~ you tease~ We won't believe even if you said that a hundred times more~"

Facepalming himself, Adam pointed downwards and asked, "Why don't you look down and check what you see..?"

Feeling confused, the duo did as he told them, which made them tremble as they were not sitting on the ground, but on the back of a creature similar to what they saw in the dream.

Shaking and trembling, they asked in unison, "Don't tell me, what you said is the truth..?" He nodded and explained what happened.

"Huh..?"

"..."

The duo was making the strangest faces filled with incredulity and disbelief. Then feeling very scared, they asked,

"Are you trying to destroy this world..?"

He quickly denied their stupid question.
