Chapter - 83 [ Princess Vs Princess! ]

Not even sensing when Adam and Adriel came, concentrating like a pro, Ruby swung the wooden sword which she tightly held in her hands. Each thrust produced a small amount of wind pressure which scattered the dust particles.

As Adam was smiling like a father looking at his grown daughter, Adriel was staring at Ruby with her eyes widened.

"She's so beautiful... And her determination to learn and improve can be seen by her concentration alone...."

Adam only chuckled at her reaction. Then as if her earlier concentration was only an act, Ruby flinched slightly when she heard his chuckle and dropped her sword. Turning towards him, she had an adorable pouting face, but it changed to that of a confused when her eyes fell on the beautiful girl next to him.

Answering her confusion without making her mention it, Adam said, "Sorry.... Ruby... For disturbing you. I'd like to introduce you to someone, that's why...."

She nodded. Then he continued after pointing towards Adriel, "This here is, the imperial princess of The Aragon Empire, Alexandria claus desa Aragon. And this here is, the princess of this country, Rubelia jon Grania."

"Nice to meet you, your highness, the imperial princess. As you heard, I am the second princess of Grania, Rubelia jon Grania. Forgive me for showing something like this as I was training..."

In her training suits, she bowed with etiquette and said these words. Returning the greetings, Adriel also said,

"No your highness, the second princess. I am not bothered by your display of training. Also, as Adam said, My name is Alexandria claus desa Aragon, imperial princess of Aragon. It's a pleasure to meet you as well."

As they introduced themselves, Ruby turned to Adam for the answers of her doubts. He smiled and explained what happened at the venue. For some reason, Adriel crouched down hugging her face and muttered something in the corner as Ruby stared at her with a poker face.

Seeing this scene, Adam couldn't but laugh out loudly, which caused the already damaged Adriel to explode her head by the imaginary steam and red blushing skin. She glared at him from her position.

Seeing the interaction between the two, Ruby asked, "Teacher, why is she alone anyway..? And since when are you two so close..?"

To that question, Adam stopped laughing and said, "She came her without any escorts." Which made Ruby tilt her head in confusion. Adam dealt the last blow by saying,

"In other words, she's a tomboy princess!"

As Ruby was nodding in understanding, Adriel launched herself at Adam. As soon as she reached him, she began to beat his chest cutely. Then as if remembering something, she looked straight into his eyes and asked, "Wait! What did she just called you..?"

Answering after forcibly distancing Adriel from Adam's chest, Ruby said, "I called him teacher. He is my sword instructor."

Adriel looked at Adam with a awestruck face. Then she asked, "Are you perchance, the youngest sword master, Adam...?"

He nodded. Turning towards Ruby, she saw the answer in the form of a nod.

"I... See... That explains why, you were one of the judges and was able to stop my attack. Also, since you are talented and strong enough, you were able to choose the princess as your student, right..?"

He nodded again. Seeing this, Adriel sighed. Then as Adam and Ruby was about to say something, Adriel surprised both of them by loudly announcing, "That's it! I've decided! I will learn from you as well..!!!"

Facepalming himself, Adam was about to scold her when Ruby asked, "Are you sure, your highness..? I am sure you have a sword instructor in your empire. If he or she heard this, won't they be angry..?"

"Hmm...? Ah, there's no worries..! After all, I don't have an instructor...!" She responded cheerfully. Then Ruby asked,

"If so, how did you even learned till now..?"

Puffing her chest proudly which caused Ruby's brows to twitch, Adriel replied, "I trained myself..!"

Adam was surprised. He said with a smile and amazed face, "That's amazing. I've never thought you trained yourself without anyone's help. You have a great talent don't you, Adriel..."

"Hehehehe~~~" She smiled happily after hearing his compliment. Ruby asked with a confused face, "Who's Adriel..?"

Then with an 'Ah', Adriel explained, "My close friends and family call me Adriel. So, I allowed Adam to call me that...!" Adriel was obviously challenging her, as she was saying this with a annoying look on her face. Thus, Ruby smiled and said,

"I see. By the way Addy... Is the matches finished..?"

She asked this normally, but to Adriel, it was a provocation. Her calling him with a nickname was already a sign of their relationship. Thus, not wanting to lost, Adriel asked shamelessly,

"I want to call you by your nickname as well..!"

Though he was startled by this request, he didn't deny it as he said, "Of course, if that's what you want."

Hearing his permission, she smiled provocatively at Ruby. Feeling as if her temples are going to explode, Ruby glared at the mischievous princess and dropped a bomb which made her face to form a crack.

"By the way Addy, don't you want to introduce her highness to your lovers..?"

Nodding his head, Adam said, "Great! I actually forgot about it. They must be free right now. Let's go, Adriel. Also, sorry again for disturbing you Ruby. I will make it upto you..!" Saying this, he waved at Adriel and walked out.

Seeing his leaving figure, Adriel paused for a moment and asked, "You are a great opponent. I see that you are also trying. But, just a few lovers of his won't affect me..!" Saying so, she ran towards the waiting Adam.

But before she left the training ground, Ruby said in a low voice with a mock expression, "We'll see..."

As they were walking towards where Amy and the other girls were, Adam asked beforehand through the telepathy and pinpointed their location. Now, they were on the accommodation building of teachers. The reason for this was obviously Jace.

As the teachers all were on the cite of the tournament, only Jace was in this building. Thus, the girls wanted to have some fun. They were planning some kind of fun program.

As they reached the door to Jace's room, it opened without him wanting to knock on it, as a girl with pale blue and green hair and blue eyes greeted them with a charming smile.

Since he had already explained the circumstances, Xesteria, who was smiling wasn't surprised by the presence of Adriel. Thus she said,

"Welcome, Addy. You too, princess. Please come in..."

Adam got in without any hesitation, while Adriel looked befuddled. The reason for this was obviously, she was charmed by the cute Xesteria.

'Oh! Oooh! What is this creature..!? She's so cute..! Don't tell me, she's his lover..?!' Her mind was in chaos. But stopping her inner turmoil Xesteria being the angel she has always been, asked with a concerned face, "Are you okay..?"

Feeling as if her heart was struck by lightning, Adriel pressed her hand on her chest tightly and said, "N-no. I am fine!" Then she followed Xesteria to the room. Only Adam saw how she had a small nosebleed....
