Two jealous husbands

"Are you ready?" Mar knocked on the door to their bathroom.

As the crown prince, he was putting on a red royal garment with black designs on it.

His hair was tied with black threads, and a black crown was on his head. On his face are red marks which looked like drops of blood, but weren't. It was a red powder that was mixed with water, and applied to the face of the first son in the family, in drops.

His lips were painted a dark colour; it contrasted with his face.

On his hand is a black staff tied with red little threads that have cowries as the only adornment.

He wasn't putting on any slippers. His feet were bare.

"I'm almost through," Osy called out to him from the bathroom.

Unlike his husband, he was putting on a white garment with red Flowers on it. His hair was tied with red threads. But unlike Mar, he wasn't putting on any crown, and there were no red dots on his face.
