CHAPTER 7

In the Imperial palace[The king's chamber]

"Hermes,I told you Harry is not going anywhere".Elora yelled she was arguing with her husband over his decision.

"Would you calm down and listen to me?".Hermes asked keeping his voice low.

"Listen to you?He's the minister of finance for crying out loud how does finance help war explain to me how it correlates. Even though we need horses, Wilfred and the warriors can take it along with them".Elora said.

"The warriors?".Hermes asked. "We're not going for a war,we are going to do alliance so warriors are not needed".

"So?You can leave with the minister of war or rather send guards more like the way my dad did then".Elora argued.

"Queen Elora,I heard your mother has been going through some medical issues shouldn't you be trying to look for ways for her to get better?".Hermes asked.

"She already is".Elora shot back at him.

"Really?I didn't realize that".Hermes replied sarcastically.

"How would you?when all you've been thinking about is sending your son to form alliance with some morons".Elora complained again.

"I was already going around to form alliance at fifteen and then there was nothing like another minister of war the king's first son automatically becomes the minister of war".Hermes shot back at her trying to justify himself.

"Then fire Wilfred".With that, Elora stormed out of the Imperial palace. Hermes tried to calm himself down deep down he knew that Harry going to gather allies wasn't her main issue.

The main issue is the fact that Harry might never return to fight for the throne. Hermes also knew that Harry wasn't interested in ruling the kingdom, he's only interested in settling down with that gold digger of a child named Amanda which is why Hermes decided to send Harry away probably he could get married while forming alliance with a kingdom.

That night, Harry visited Mato as discussed then he met his father Hermes. Hermes told Harry to pack his belongings because he's going on a long journey and he's probably going to come back after a year if not more than that. Harry didn't show his displeasure. Percy cried all night even when she discovered that Mato is leaving too despite the fact that they were not close she always had a soft spot for him ever since she saw him in the woods but she knew that they can never be together.

Later that night,she went to her mother's boudoir and she noticed that her mother's eyes were puffy probably she had been crying all along.Percy suddenly regretted that she came to meet her mother. Nevertheless, she went beside her mother and laid down.

"It's all going to be all right".Her muttered. They tried to sleep but they couldn't when they couldn't sleep,they said talked about the funny moments they had with Harry.

Harry on the other hand slept peacefully and woke up the next morning.

"Dry your tears, Percy I hate to break it down to you but I'll be honest with you. I might not come back again but trust me as far as I'm alive you'll always be my sister". Harry said as he hugged Percy. Hermes and Elora walked up to them.

"Please come back".Elora said with tears in her eyes.

"I don't understand why everyone is getting emotional it's not my first time leaving. Do you think I won't come back?be rest assured that I will come back to pay homage to his Highness after his death".Harry said and gave his father a gleeful glaze which Hermes didn't react to. Harry bowed to his father took his cub and mounted his horse. He waved to Percy tears rolled down his face but he smiled, he then looked around.

"Where's Mato?".

"He left quite early this morning".Percy replied. As soon as Percy replied Amanda walked in with tears which made the entire family except Harry give her a disgusting look.

"What about your father?".Elora asked her question evidently carrying another meaning.

"Your Highness he went to form alliance".

"I see".Hermes replied as if he wasn't the one who sent him to the north in order to let Harry go to the south alone with 40 guards.

Harry dismounted his horse and walked up to the crying Amanda held her hand and later hugged her.

"Don't wait for me you have Kennedy and please cut all ties with my sister, she's trouble that's all I ask for".Harry whispered into Amanda ear though Percy heard and smirked. Harry released Amanda, went back to Percy and dropped a cold substance in her hand.

At first, he didn't want to give Percy because he knows Mato has an ulterior motive. Harry already told him to stay away from Percy which Mato laughed at and he said he isn't going to do anything to Percy he just wanted to give her the gift while stuttering. Harry doesn't want Mato near his sister cause he's aware that Percy can be aggressive when it comes to things she wants but if Mato tells her he's not interested in her she wouldn't go after him cause she's egoistic.

"It's from Mato,he said for what you did yesterday".He mounted on his horse again put his cub into a wool backpack waved and smiled.

"I'll send two guards after the completion of every mission".With that Harry galloped into distance with the guards.

Hermes went to his personal chamber and let out his emotions while Amanda went back to her house, she felt that all she had with Harry was a loss. Percy and Elora kept crying the only person that kept the palace together while they are apart left and there's no assurance that he is going to come back. Harry rode into the forest he only gets to determine his fate and this was his only and last chance to live his life as he wishes.
