Chelsea Arcadia (Woods)

As they stood there, frozen in shock at the sight of him, Vanessa was the first to break the silence.

"Ah... you got blood on your clothes," she sighed, noting the crimson stains on his clothes.

Without hesitation, she reached out and pressed her hand against his chest.

Swish!

Suddenly, a gentle breeze swept over them, magically removing the blood from his clothes and leaving them spotless.

"Thansks. Your magic control really got better." Luk smiled faintly, patting her head.

As he reached out to gently pat her head, Vanessa couldn't help but pout, feeling somewhat treated like a child, yet she made no move to push his hand away.

"Now... do you still want to pass through me?" His eyes narrowed as he looked at Chelsea's face with a murderous gaze.

Honestly, he didn't mind killing an S-Rank Player, besides, if anything, it would simply be food for his Mermaid Dagger.

Chelsea simply smiled at his words, and as her mouth opened, unexpected words came out of her mouth.

"It's been a long time, 'brother'."

"...."

Luk's eyes widened at her words, totally not expecting her to say something like this.

"Brother...?" Vanessa murmured.

Actually, she had researched Luk's identity; however, the only thing that appeared was that his parents had died when he was young and he was admitted to an orphanage.

There was nothing more than that; there was no such thing as a sister.

"Are you Chelsea? The little girl that followed me around in the orphanage?" Luk suddenly asked.

When he was in the orphanage, there was a little girl that stuck to him like glue, and he grew particularly fond of her.

Because both of them were quite lonely, even with many children around them, they started treating each other as brothers and sisters.

However, Luk needed to check something...

Upon seeing her status, Luk was honestly very surprised.

Chelsea had more than ten skills, and all of them were directly related to magic; however, what was really unusual was her unique ability.

It was unawakened, but from her status, her unique ability must be related to magic.

As for her class, she must be waiting until she awakens her unique ability to be able to choose a proper class.

"It really is you." Luk said in a surprised tone.

After all, in her status, it clearly said "Chelsea Arcadia," where she has his surname.

When they were younger, they talked with the orphanage's proprietress and got Chelsea to have the same surname as Luk.

It was very childish.

"It's nice to see you, I guess. However..." Luk pointed his dagger directly at her head.

"Don't even think about getting close." He warned.

Despite treating each other like brothers and sisters, they began to grow apart as they grew older.

Additionally, they harbored nothing but hatred for one another just months before they both left the orphanage.

So, there was no way Luk wouldn't be wary of her.

And upon seeing his actions, her lips seductively curled upward. "Mhm~, why are you wary? I mean... we did leave each other on bad terms, but now... it shouldn't be a problem, right?"

"Hah... you're really funny. You're saying that while conjuring a spell behind your back?" Luk scoffed at her, and waved his hand.

Immediately, a rune barrier rose around the both of them.

Chelsea's eyes widened as she saw the rune barrier raising around them, which was supposed to be the rarest barrier in the entire game.

Luk only smiled at her expression; after all, even if he doesn't have the skills, he still knows the magic pattern to conjure them.

And if he does it a few more times, he should be able to acquire the skill.

The skills on the [Tower of Trials] can appear on your status by simply acquiring them on a quest, dungeon rewards, boss' rewards, and a few other things.

However, you may learn a skill if you put in the necessary effort and practice for a considerable amount of time.

But Luk finds that too monotonous because most of the skills he wants are passive, meaning he can not acquire them by merely practicing.

"Wha—How?!!" She directly asked him.

Her flirtatious demeanor completely disintegrated; after all, she took great pride in obtaining the [Rune Barrier] ability so early in the game.

But how could she not be surprised when Luk just made a much better version of it with a wave of his hands?

"HOW?!!!?" She grabbed his collar and shook his body while repeating her words.

"You are still the same, huh... A bad loser." Luk chuckled.

Chelsea got irritated by his words instantly because her "trigger" word has always been "loser".

Especially when it came from Luk himself!

"However, I'm not here to play around." Luk's eyes instantly turned cold, and he grabbed Chelsea's neck, lifting her up with one hand.

"Haughkk!"

She groaned as she squeezed his arm tightly with her two hands, the oxygen in her body slowly disappearing.

"Tell me... did you already kill the boss from the dungeon [Mana Playground]?" He asked directly.

Chelsea hurriedly nodded her head.

"I see... Where's the item [Mana Problem]...?" He let go of her neck, letting her gasp for breath.

Tears tickled down her face as she inhaled and exhaled deeply.

"I...I have it." She took an item from inventory and threw it to Luk.

Luk quickly caught it and nodded in satisfaction.

"Also, which guild is holding the dungeon [Sea of Mazes]?" He added with a faint smile.

"Huff... The Black Crown Guild." She replied swiftly.

Luk smiled at her words and brushed her hair softly.

"Good girl."

He snapped her fingers, and the [Rune Barrier] around them completely dissipated. He walked towards Vanessa and spoke.

"We'll change destinations. Let's go to the dungeon [Sea of Mazes]."

Vanessa tilted her head in confusion but simply nodded and followed him, linking their arms together with a smile.

"Teehe~, why?" She shook his arm as they left under Chelsea's deep gaze.

"........"

"Fuck!"

Crack!

Chelsea picked up a vase from somewhere and threw it at the ground, breaking it directly.

She put her hands on her neck where Luk's handprints could be seen and gritted her teeth.

"Why is he always better than me!?"
