A showdown (2)

The time has not yet started but Jay already put his feet forward and attacked Seraphim and Ivona who just entered. He is an ice user, controlling ice is easy for someone like him.

"I hope you do know that it's rude to attack a lady off guarded," Ivona said who stopped his attack by twisting her flowers at the ice that Jay used to attack them.

"Let's make a deal." Jay stopped and looked forward to the two young ladies.

"What?"

"If we won, all of you will be my friends." He added, Jay, is a cheerful and happy-go-lucky boy. He asked Seraphim once but she rejected his offer.

"No-"

"Sure. If you win, that is." Seraphim said and dozens of steel surrounded Jay and Cassian (Barak).

Before Jay can see anything, a loud explosion can be heard. Jay placed ice where Cassian (Barak) jumped and pointed his sword at the two.

Barak has decided to use a sword. He may not be that reliable but it's better to use nothing for now than to be discovered.

Several swordmasters are still using their power while holding a sword. But Barak is not going to wield any, he knew that he can do it even if there is no power.

"Woah, can he use a sword?"

"But Cassian is a shapeshifter, isn't he? It seems like he's talented with a sword."

"I never expected that!"

Seraphim blocked it, with the support of Ivona. He thrust his sword, making the steel crack a little. By this, it made Seraphim furious.

"Ivona." She said, removing all the steels. Suddenly, the whole place was covered with flowers, making the audience can't see anything.

Seraphim started attacking multiple steel spears in different directions. Barak dodge it and Jay made a large barricade of thick ice to protect half of them.

"Too bad, Lady Seraphim, it won't work on us." Jay confidently said and raised his hand in the air and the half of the place was filled with ice, making Seraphim and Ivona strangle in between the ice.

The two young ladies didn't talk. Ivona is staring heavily at Jay, with whom she didn't want to be friends deal is a deal." He reminded them, Seraphim faked a smile and smash the ice with steel.

"Fine." She coldly said and walked out of there. She felt embarrassed because she lost to a boy, while Anastasia had learned such a skill. She can already resonate with it! While she can't even yet control her mana fully.

"Anastasia Castilla, I swear that you'll pay for this big time." She mumbled to herself.

Everyone screamed, they never thought that it will be finished faster than they thought would be.
