After nearly two hours, Kate finally walked out of her bedroom. Her father had prepared a separate bedroom for her in case she wanted to stay with them. After all, Kate's Father didn't want her daughter to stay with Kyle all the time.
The moment Kate walked out, she blinked her eyes when she saw Kyle sitting in the living room.
She didn't have the habit to use her ability to check the surrounding people all the time. Whenever she was with her parents, she liked the feeling of returning to the time of peace before the red rain and these giant mutated animals appeared.
Thus, she was a bit surprised to see Kyle there.
"Good morning, Kate," Kyle greeted.
"You're finally awake." Kate's Father looked at his daughter and smiled. In the past, Kate would wake up even later if there was nothing to do. And he could only let her be since he didn't want to disturb her.
Seeing her able to wake up quite early made him happy.
