"Haah… haah… haah."
The sound of heavy breathing could be heard inside the Forbidden Chamber. Slowly losing her life as blood continued to drip from her body, Rania sat down on the floor and leaned on a pillar, firmly pressing on the big wound on her back shoulder, trying to stop it from bleeding more than it already had. Though the pain was excruciating, she did her best not to scream and contained her agony in low grunts.
After being swallowed by the vines, what awaited her inside was simply—from the looks of it—a huge circular hall with nothing in it except thick pillars and tall doors towards who-knows-where. It was almost pitch black inside and her eyes took a few seconds before it completely adjusted to the darkness. Only the subtle moonlight that barely sneaked in through the large curtained windows served as light to the place.
