Sadness

The dancing Ceremony started after all of the Noble Families line by line met up with the Royal Family, paying respect and loyalty. Both father and I stood next to the Royal Couple with our gazes down.

The dancing Ceremony was just a ritual to see who seemed beautifully compatible with the Prince by elegance. There was no competition, but just a small ritual. But by then, girls instantly surrounded the Crown Prince.

I stood alone avoiding the crowd by standing next to my father, clenching his sleeves. My father looked at me sadly and patted my head.

Back in my previous life, I had pushed aside thousands of girls in the Crowd to get a chance to dance with the Crown Prince. I felt so nasty yet prideful.

Who wants to dance with that Bastard! I must have been blind!

"Lady Bellrose? Would you not request a dance with the Crown Prince?" the Emperor said as he noticed my existence.

Hahahaa... I would rather die instead.

"No, it's quite fine, I won't feel good by dancing anyways," I say waving my hands.

"But I heard you are quite skilled at dancing?" the Emperor asked.

"Uh..." I say questionably at my father who avoided my gaze. "They must be rumors, your Majesty. I am only average at dancing," I lie.

"Hmmm." The Emperor seems upset. I look away towards the other side of the crowd. I stare blankly at the naked walls of the Palace Walls.

The walls were soon covered with Portraits of Prince Ares and Cecil soon after. It seems quite natural to see an empty wall.

Empty pain rushes to my chest. Sadness and shattered walls. I let out a shaky breath. I remembered everything. Hah...

I must have been torn down too hard.

Nevermind. I came here for Revenge. So I will take Revenge from staying away from him first. Because sweet only turns sour when it's left uneaten.

Because that's the only way to forget you.
