Destroy that Family

As I made my way out, I stared at the shop in front of me that I wanted to own. I clenched my fists tightly as I made my way inside the shop.

"H-Hello?" I breathed softly into the air, and then spoke, "Is there anyone in here?" There was nothing in the shop but empty dust. The sunbathed me from the window sills as I walked around the room.

"How may we help you, young lady?" a deep voice called from the corner. I turned my head around towards the source of the voice after flinching. A man wearing dark clothes appeared in front of me. Green emerald eyes, and brown chocolate hair the same features I saw before in my life.

"Ah, yes– I am here to speak with Mr. Meyers."

"Mr. Meyers is not here, but overseas my lady. Just what business could you, a young lady, possibly have with him?"

"Sir, I don't think you understand who I am, do you?"

"Young Lady?"

I took out a piece of paper from my briefcase and showed him: "I want to buy this shop from the owner."

"W-what? But Miss– the shop isn't for sale exactly, Mr. Meyers just brought it recently."

"Oh yes, I am aware that he bull crapped and mistreated the other investors interested in this store."

The man snorted loudly at me insulting his master. "Please Young lady, if you don't have any business, please go back."

"Oh no," I say mouthing loudly very loudly so that the man could hear. "I wouldn't be so pathetic as to go back without a negotiation with Mr. Meyers and empty-handed of course."

"Young lady! What is it do you want?" the man snapped.

"Sir, you would want to take a look at the stamp at the bottom of the paper."

The man flipped through the paper and then heavily frowned when he saw the stamp of the prestigious Crest family stamped onto the paper. "Is this supposed to be a fake document? You could die for trying to imitate the Crest family stamp onto the paper–"

"Please. I didn't come here all the way to hear that a silly little bastard was standing in my way."

"Y-you?!"

"Now, call the manager of your place. Don't you know how to treat your customer?" I say bluntly with a glare on my face.

"Miss, we have no choice but to order you out."

"Isn't that quite rude? Don't you know that I can cut off all the trades?" I sneer. Finally the he huffed and puffed with folded arms and walked out to get the manager. When another man arrived, his face seemed shocked that he quickly bowed ninety degrees and said:

"G-Greetings, I didn't think such an esteemed guest would be here-"

"Yes, I didn't think such attitude would be shown to your clients."

"I humbly apologize!" He bowed again.

"Of course, this cannot be guaranteed quickly, after all I am an esteemed lady. My word will turn down this shop's very chance to be established and become well known in society." I smirked.

The manager pales and then kneels saying: "Esteemed Guest! I will fire the one who has harmed you! I beg you, please!"

I smile as I fold my arms and tell him: "Now, since I am your esteemed guest, show me all of your fine dresses and boutiques that you have."

"O-Of course!" The manager stands up lightly and then leads me into a private area, which was much cleaner. It was filled with fine garments, dresses, gowns, and suits.

"Is this low-quality dress all you have to show me?" I mock him as I run my hand through the quality of the dress. "It looks so fragile that it can be ripped or burnt very easily. How can measly owners not know this. Is it made out of paper?"

"A-ah! N-not at all! We have better dresses somewhere else!" The manager says.

"Who manages such a meek and small shop like this? Seems like they have no taste." I click my mouth. "Perhaps a burly old man who knows nothing about the society."

"E-esteemed guest, the owner of the shop is the Myers Foundation." The manager says.

"Tsk. Tsk. Is this what barbarians make these days? Such flimsly clothing." I say clicking my tongue. I touch the fabric, it was very soft yet very easy to tear apart. If such fabric was made to be worn- won't it be torn very easily?

Besides, ladies nowadays have a bad habit of spilling tea, tripping people, who would want to wear such poor quality clothing? They must a man or someone who has no idea of current society.

Even I, as a bully, have fine memories of bullying, tripping, spilling tea and ruining fabric. Tsk. Tsk. These Meyers family are truly barbarians. How could they dare to mock the Crest family? I gnashed my teeth as I turned around and said:

"Is there any other clothing than this?"

"Well- we still haven't been established yet..."

"It seems that your store has such poor requirements. I'll have to take my leave." I turn around and walk away. This is too easy to shut down the Meyers family. I thought that at least their business was more competitive and well-rounded, but it seems like their products are too not fitting for us.

But it baffled me... truly, are the Meyers family this weak?

Maybe I should head back before the Emperor informs my father. I look around and dash for the door.

"Lillia, send this letter to the Meyers family." I smile as I hand over a lettered document, asking to meet the Meyer Family Merchandize. The popular Merchanidize around the world. Lillia hesitates and then takes to run for the errand.

I stand up to read a few books about Business. But once I looked at the bookshelf, I smiled and went back to bed.

Never mind, I'll just do this tomorrow. I'm still young and I have time to study later. The business world was too much for a young lady like me. It's better to relax.

Yep. Forget about the world and dream. So that it won't hurt to face reality.

"I'll be attending all of the social gatherings," I say with a smile. "So Lillia, answer to every single house that I will attend respectively with high expectations. And after that send out invitations to the Crest family manor."

To gain power, I needed influence and wealth. If Business goes along well in the future, I needed more influence to promote that business. Later on, when I become Crown Princess I will have access to the Imperial Knights Loyalty and commands.

Then I will have the power to access the Imperial Library which is exclusively for the Imperial family lineage. Then, I will gather all the documents and get more influence in Imperial politics to promote my father and the house.

Lastly with enough influence and after Ares breaks off his engagement with me, I will rebel and kill him.

This is a very weak plan, but this can be done if everything goes right. I clamped my fists together and prayed to God and the Devil to give me the hope to take revenge. Please. Please. Let nothing astray my path.

I don't want to see the people I love and care about die.

"T-then Lady Bellrose, you will be attending Countess Divanchi's Salon this morning," Lillia said as she put on a fancy dress on me. "And this afternoon, you will attend Lady Candice's Tea party and finally at dinner, you will be attending the Marquess's Banquet."

"Yes. And don't forget to prepare the exclusive Overseas Painting that I brought for the Countess, and the expensive Tea-set for the Candices, and the Glass Marble Structure for the Marquess."

"Yes..." Lillia mumbled.

"Don't forget my fan."

"Ah... yes-!" Lillia frowned when I brought up the fan. I had received this present from Overseas, and I have used it to look down and keep a dignified face.

"Do you know who else is invited?"

"Ah... for the Countess and the Lady's Tea Party, no... but for the Marquess- I heard Lord Thornburg will be invited."

I didn't hold back my groan as Lillia said it. Ugh... That rotten rope? I really didn't want to see his disgusting face for some time.

I should bring my father along to the Marquess's banquet. Hopefully, everyone would stay away from me then. Thornburg won't openly bully or mock my face if the father will be present unless he wants to show rivalry.

"Okay, and prepare my hat," I say at last, trying to not sound demanding. A Duke's daughter needs to be powerful looking right?

With this, I will properly destroy the Meyer family influence in the Empire and create a better chain of business using the Crest family name. I smirked as I headed out for the Gatherings.
