Everything seemed to be progressing along the trajectory Komer had envisioned. The allegiance of the Dark Mages added some confidence to his heart. Together with Mihailovich, Newman, Clarence, and Sheferley, a medium-sized Mage Corps had finally formed. If he could succeed in rescuing Rebry and include himself as a guest mage, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to call it a large Mage Corps. However, all these plans had to wait until Rebry's return.

Komer was already considering whom to send to participate in the battle.

The main members of the Mage Corps were indispensable. Marco Wilderness was not like other places. Although one could belittle the Church of Light in words, in actual combat, no one was a fool. The Church of Light had stood for centuries amidst challenges from numerous Dark Forces. Was it an easy adversary? With each generation featuring numerous experts and masters, a slight negligence could mean a no-return. Komer dared not be careless at all.
