Chapter 16: Rescue

Almost at the moment when the Gray Wolf Pack disappeared into the Forest, everyone lay down on the ground.

This life-or-death battle had nearly exhausted everyone's energy, whether they were Thunderhorse Knights or Masked Knights, including Komer and the few others with him.

Now, all they wanted was to lie on the ground and rest well.

The only exception was Puber, who had been standing on top of the horse-drawn carriage; he had not participated in the battle. Apart from his lips turned blue and his face blackened by the chill from the Ice Magic breath sprayed out by the wolves, he wasn't too damaged otherwise. In fact, he was quite delighted by the sight of the Gray Wolf corpses surrounding everyone.
