Operation Amongus

Two nights later, a slightly fat man arrived at Auspicious Night accompanied by three bodyguards.

The man has both purple hair and wears a purple jacket, as well as a green T-shirt underneath. His magical power that leaked from his body shows him he was just a simple Rank 2.

But for the three bodyguards, one emitted a very powerful pressure, equivalent to a Rank 9, while the other two were a line weaker, at the peak of Rank 8.

When this group arrived, they were greeted respectfully by a gorgeous-looking woman.

"Mr. Hordon, welcome to our humble place."

"Hehe, Miss Hilma is as beautiful as always. Are you not interested in accompanying me for a night?" Barney, the slightly fat man, spoke with a frivolous tone.

The gorgeous-looking woman, however, replied without changing her smile, "I'm sorry, Mr. Hordon, but I'll be busy tonight, so I can't accompany you."

"Such a shame, I would have liked to know Miss Hilma more." Barney said without hiding his lustful thoughts, "Anyway, is my room ready?"

"Of course. It has been prepared with the highest service we can offer. Why don't you follow this lady there, Mr. Hordon?" Hilma said while pointing at the girl behind her.

"Very well." Nodded Barney, "Also, you know what to do when the others come, right? I don't think I need to mention it again, but nobody can know about the talk inside."

The gorgeous woman smiled, "What are you worried about, Mr. Hordon? You know that nobody is better than us to keep the privacy of our customers.

"I hope so." After saying that, Barney and his men followed the beautiful lady that led them to their private room.

When they were gone, Hilma's smiling expression turned into a frown.

"Increase the security of the building and its surroundings. I have a feeling that something troublesome will happen tonight."

"Mistress?"

"Just follow my orders." She mutteted and went inside Auspicious Night.

As soon as she entered, she saw another troublesome person on the first floor of the establishment.

Hilma quickly changed her frown into a smile and greeted him, "Mr. Ballard, it has been a while since the last time I saw you here."

The blonde-haired catkin in front of her smiled, "Well, I was feeling bored tonight, so I thought it was a good idea to visit this place."

Hilma nodded, "I'm happy that you thought about us. Mr. Ballard, We in Auspicious Night treat our customers as our gods, more if the customer is someone so respectable like you. So, if you need anything, don't hesitate to tell us."

"Thank you, but I'm alright. If I need something, I'll make sure to let you know."

"I understand." Hilma curtsied with a smile before bidding him farewell and leaving. In her mind, however, she was wondering what this two-faced man was planning and if she should keep an eye on him.

Once Hilma was gone, Julian put on a serious expression.

"How is it going?" He asked softly.

Almost instantly, an answer came from an earpiece in his ear. [It's done. Target 'Fat Dino' was slightly suspicious when 'Early Bird' knocked on him, but he was unable to detect the tracker he put on his clothes, over]

Julian did not try to hide his admiration, "German Leprechaun, you and your friends have a lot of useful artifacts. I'm curious about how you got them."

[I... made them myself... over] Terroriser replied nervously. By the way, 'German Leprechaun' was a code name he gave to Julian.

Julian knew it was a fake name, but he did not mention it. He could understand him to keep his identity a secret. But calling their target weird names? And saying weird stuff in the end? Well, he didn't question it, it might be their own little games.

By the way, in this mission, only Julian, Marcel, Brian, Delirious, Moo and Ellies have to be in this mission, which dissatisfied most of Team 6 but they didn't forget about the rewards they will receive once the mission is over.

And furthermore, Moo's code name is Code: Early Bird.

[By the way, Julian.] Terroriser asked, [Do we truly need to take this risk? The tracker 'Early Bird' put on 'Fat Dino's' clothes is enough to hear the conversation inside... over.]

[Target 'Crewmate' and 'Crewmate(1)' are on sight. A young man and a young lady, over] Another voice sounded in Julian's ear. [Around sixteen to eighteen years old, over]

"Understood there, 'Blue Lives'. How are their builds?" Julian asked.

[Target Crewmate's build is very similar to 'German Leprechaun'. But there is a problem on Target Crewmate(1), over]

"What is it?"

[Her build is slightly different from 'Bubble Doggo', over]

Hearing this, Julian frowned. Although it was not strictly necessary for Ellies to be the one that enters the room, it was better that way. Ellies' sense of smell would allow them a greater range of strategies.

After a few seconds of hesitation, Julian gritted his teeth. "It doesn't matter. We only need to be a bit more careful and not to interact with the people of Auspicious Night. As for 'Fat dino' and the other targets with him, I doubt they can notice the slight difference in a servant they just met. Now, get ready to start the operation.

[Understood, but next time I'm gonna do the naming, Terroriser's names are incredibly retarded.] Basically remarked, before adding [Anyways 'Blue Lives', over and out]

"Elli-..... 'Bubbles Doggo', 'German Leprechaun', get ready. We will act when the servants leave the first floor."

[See, the name is not hard to pronounce.] A mischievous laugh was heard, Terroriser nodded from a corner of the first floor and took a deep breath. [Alright. Operation Amogus has been initiated.]

Then next, the following part was the most difficult part of the plan.

They must knock the servants unconscious and replace them as quickly as possible while avoiding to be discovered by the people of Auspicious Night.

The problem was that they could not use magic or mana. The slight use or an extremely small fraction of mana could alert the people of Auspicious Night and warn them that something was wrong.

Terroriser followed the indications coming from his earpiece and moved to the arranged location. Soon, he saw the two servants they were going to replace.

The meeting rooms of Auspicious Night were located upstairs. Terroriser waited until the servants started to walk up the stairs, then he made his move.

Quickly, he entered a vent and chased after the servants.

Two Rank 5 guards were keeping watch in the entrance of the stairs, stopping anyone unauthorized from going up, but Terroriser memorized the vents' passage way since their planning prep time, so he knows the way, he crawls and stealthily passes over them without being detected.

Then, he followed the servants.

When the servants arrived at a place out of the sight of other people, Terroriser acted as he jumped out of the vents in front of them.

"..."

"..."

"...Among us."

"What the?!" The male servant was startled.

The female servant, on the other hand, shouted.

"Imposte-"

Rushing behind them, he swiftly pulls out two objects in his hands and stabs them in the back. Easily, the two cultivation-less servants were knocked out instantly without making a sound. Terroriser held their bodies carefully and stopped them from falling in fear of alarming someone with the noise.

They didn't die, they only got knocked out cold by Terroriser using syringes filled with drugs. With this, they would not wake up until five hours later and couldn't remember a thing. Well, because he was ordered not to kill them, which made him dissatisfied about it.

When Terroriser finished injecting the drugs, someone materialized beside him.

"Good work. You are pretty good at this."

Terroriser shot a glance at the brown-haired wolf girl and said, "Yeah, this isn't my first time I've done this stuff."

In game of course.

"Better hurry up. If we take too long it will arouse suspicion."

Ellies smirked. She then touched the jewel on her neck and faced it to the girl servant. One second later, a dim light was emitted from the jewel and scanned the servant's face.

Ellies then put the jewel on her neck and pressed the jewel again. In seconds, her face turned identical to the face of the girl on the ground. Even the hairstyle had been imitated by the illusion.

Then, she took off the dress she was wearing. Below it, there was a uniform identical to the servants of Auspicious Night.

Besides a slight difference in the build, Ellies had turned into an exact copy of the servant.

When she looked beside her, Terroriser had also finished his preparations, and his face had turned into the face of the other servant.

"Shall we go?"

"After you."

Auspicious Night was divided into two parts. The first one was the first floor, a nightclub-like place, where anyone with enough money and status could enter. Julian had used his connections to bring Bloed and the others here.

The second part was the upper floors, where the private rooms for important dinner and meetings were located.

There were a total of four upper floors. The higher the floor, the more luxurious the private room, the stricter the security, and the higher the cost.

In terms of safety, the lower floors had Rank 2 to 3 and one or two Rank 4 keeping watch. The higher floors, on the other hand, had Rank 5 experts guarding the stairs, and Rank 6 to 7 stationed on each floor.

Terroriser could swear he felt the presence of a Rank 8 or 9 on the fifth floor.

The fact that an establishment like this had a Legendary Realm expert working as a guard was pretty astonishing to him.

Terroriser looked at Ellies beside him. He could feel that the wolf girl was a bit nervous, and her breathing was uneven.

"You look pretty nervous." Terroriser whispered softly, "Try to control your breathing. It always helps."

Ellies looked at Terroriser startled before nodding, "I understand. Don't worry."

Terroriser furrowed his brow, but there was nothing he could do. He still remembers his Among Us training and he could only hope that this girl doesn't blow their disguises later or else they will launch out of space... or maybe far worse because this is not actually Among Us.

Fortunately, Ellies' breathing had turned steady when they arrived at Target 'Fat Dino's room.

"I will be the one talking."

Without waiting for Ellies answer, Terroriser knocked on the door.

"Come in." A voice said from the inside.

Terroriser pushed the door open and entered the room. Then, he moved his gaze through the people inside. It was just a brief glance, though, so nobody noticed anything strange.

"Sirs, we brought the food you asked for." Terroriser spoke in a more mature tone, adding with a British accent, which kinda shocked Ellies in the background. Before, this guy's voice sounds like an arrogant asshole, she first questions why his friends chose him in this role but now she knows why, this guy is an expert voice actor! She also hides her shock perfectly well, not showing any suspicions or else they will fail this mission already.

"Why are you fucks took so long?" Barney, or Target 'Fat Dino' asked displeased, "It has been almost ten minutes!"

"My apologies sir, we prepared it as quickly as possible." Terroriser said apologetically.

Seeing that, Barney clicked his tongue in dissatisfaction, "Anyway, hurry up, do your job, and leave."

Terroriser gently nodded. He and Ellies then started to put the food on the table.

Terroriser, on the inside, was very nervous during this part. Even though he worked in a Subway restaurant until that asshole Vanoss got him fired, he still did not have knowledge about the etiquette used to serve food in a luxurious place, so he was afraid of the people inside noticing something strange. Fortunately, Ellies seemed knowledgeable about it, so he just followed her lead.

At the same time, he examined the people inside the room again.

There were six masked people seated around the table, each one accompanied by several guards behind them. Terroriser only recognized one of them, Barney. As for the others, he did not know who they were.

Despite it, he tried to remember as many of their features as possible. Perhaps, he could use these features to identify them later.

When Terroriser and Ellies finished serving the dishes, they took a step back respectfully.

"We are done, do you need anything else, dear sirs?"

Barney waved his hand exasperatedly. "Just piss off. We will call you again if we need anything."

Terroriser nodded and turned around to leave with Ellies.

But at that moment...

"Wait." One of the bodyguards standing behind a man spoke.

'Fuck, what now!' Terroriser cursed inwardly while making his best to not show any sign of nervousness.

"Yes, sir? How can we be of help?"

The bodyguard smiled and looked at Ellies, "It's nothing. I'm just curious about the beautiful miss here. Miss, do you want to have a drink with me later?"

Ellies was startled but she quickly recovered her composure and replied with an apologetic look, "I'm sorry, sir. I must consult with my boss first."

"Is it so? I see."

One of the men at the table snorted at that moment, "Pablo, control your men. Do you think this is the place for your little subordinates to flirt?"

"Stop fussing, old man. This was nothing more than an innocent joke." The one called Pablo said. He then smiled at the two. "I'm sorry for my subordinate's conduct. Don't worry, you can go."

Ellies smiled politely, "It's nothing."

Then, she and Terroriser left the room.

Once outside, Terroriser let out a sigh of relief while looking at Ellies in praise for her quick witness. Then, the pair left the place without mentioning a word.

However, while leaving, Terroriser suddenly felt a weird feeling from the man named 'Pablo' earlier.

'That voice… that name… why do they all sound so familiar? Is he…?'

"No."

Brushing his thoughts off, Terroriser decided to not overthink it, this is another world, so there is a possibility that a person from earth has an alternate counterpart here, like that man who appeared similar to Joe Biden for instance.

From this moment, they were in a race against time. The longer they took to leave this place, and the more people they came into contact with, the greater the probability of them being discovered.

They hurriedly walked towards a bathroom, took off their servant clothes, and exchanged them for the set of clothes below, identical to the ones they were using when they arrived at Auspicious Night.

Then, the Ellies activated her invisibility skill and returned to the first floor, as for Terroriser, he simply went to a vent and did the same thing.

Fortunately, it seemed that nobody noticed their absence or anything wrong with them.

Once there, they made eye contact with Julian and nodded to indicate that everything was alright. Then, the pair left Auspicious Night.

Less than five minutes after that, they arrived at the meeting place they had accorded before.

"Beautifully done, lads. The plan went without a hitch."

"Unfortunately, everybody was wearing a mask, so I was unable to see their faces." Terroriser said.

"You don't need to worry about that," Julian smiled, "Ellies, how is it? Did you find him?"

Ellies curved her lips up, "I think so. One of the people inside carried the smell of several human and beastmen children, plus a slight scent of blood and stagnation. If I'm not wrong, he is someone that deals with slaves constantly, that is our target."

"Do you think you can follow his scent?"

Ellies nodded, "Of course, when I was inside, I blew a very special pheromone on him. It's undetectable for the human nose, but for me, it's like a lighthouse in the dark. I can follow such a scent from five hundred meters away."

"Perfect. We already have a target. However, I'm interested in their conversation, maybe we can learn more about our enemy through that. Brian, is the thing you said before ready?"

"I always have it in me." Terroriser said with a sly grin, pulling out a small device from his pocket and puts it on a table.

This device had been recording the conversation inside Barney's private room.
